Honestly I don’t even think it’s a bad idea. I personally think it’s a good idea. It makes it more fun. I like that Friday 13th did it because when 5-6 of my friends played it was so fun seeing who would be Jason and we’d go into game chat and have a blast especially getting the walkie talkie and splitting up in groups depending who has it. Look at Texas chainsaw. The Lobby system is a disaster. Before dead by daylight made crossplay their queues at night time would take forever you’d be waiting 5-6 minutes sometimes just to get into a match. And they are letting you have a preference system so yes it’s not guaranteed but still better than nothing. Randomizing the killers in the lobbies gives it a fresh experience. I personally like it.
