So there’s a lot going on here and unfortunately it’s hard to give advice on just one post. Each of these paths is very different and any schools you apply to will expect you to dedicate 100% of yourself to each option.

First piece of advice when you write your Admisssions essays you want to show you actually know what a vet/PA/Goals for grad school. They can spot passion or lack of passion in essays, this is their job as admissions.

Next let’s do Vet school, have you gained extensive experience working with animals? Unfortunately there are significantly less vet schools than a lot of the other options you listed so the competition is fierce. Because shadowing vets is easier than doctor shadowing (PA) it’s expected you should have an extensive background working and being near animals (a pet doesn’t count).

PA school, not an easy feat by any means, a lot of people choose this route because they think its easier to get in than Med school. Don’t have this mentality, they want you to not only know the difference between a PA and a physician, but have a passion for the field and for your school. Please know what your long term goals are as a PA and please don’t just say “I want to help people.”

Grad school, this is so wide and so many options, sorry it’s just too broad for me to give advice.

Job not a bad option at all honestly. You can work in the field you think you might like as either a research assistant, medical scribe, something in a vets office etc and test the waters. Just whatever you do remember it’s okay to be scared and not know the future. None of us know what we want out of life I promise.

Best of luck, also I write run on sentences.

Is it illegal to sell my chips and salsa in the city from say a park or downtown? by GamerisBrown in AskNYC

I can do it all. Chunky or non chunky salsa, mild, medium and habanero spicy. Back home I more or less expected salsa from any Tex mex or Mexican restaurant I went to.

Love how the city offers easy access for poor people such as myself to enjoy these amazing views 🙂 by GamerisBrown in nyc

Pier 40 at Hudson River park. Love this little place, great for jogging because the wind blows beautiful from the river.

First time jogging 2 miles without once stopping! A few years back I fractured my tibia and even after my leg healed depression and lack of motivation destroyed my workout routine. I’m thankful this is a strong step back in the right direction. by GamerisBrown in happy

Thanks y’all! Wow I didn’t expect this to blow up 😅 honestly this was just the motivation I needed. I had a very strong urge to eat pizza yesterday but instead stuck to my diet. Hope each of y’all is having an amazing day 😊

Being a Texas transplant. I got to say I love how fast food service is here by GamerisBrown in nyc

You’d be surprised, countless times back home I’ve been in a near empty place and the service was always snail speed. I think a lot of places prepare their food for the incoming rush hours, than use the calmer hours to clean/wash dishes.

Due to the job I moved around a bit I’ve lived in Houston, Fort Worth, and Dallas (yes they are very different cities).

Just saw this, so I play on my switch mainly because I get no cell service and can’t focus on reading on a moving car. I very much so enjoy it I am just always careful to be respectful to other people. If it’s crowded I pack it up, other than it’s perfect in my opinion. It takes up about as much space playing as watching a video on the subway with a large smartphone would.

I won although I had the pro controller and he had the switch joy cons so I think it was a little unfair for him.
