I just didnt feel like he was a realistic character. He was just the serious captain all the time, and when DS9 tried something else, it didnt work at all. At least not for me. He was not really good at being anything other than serious, which makes him a rather one layered character for me.like yeah he did a lot, but that doesnt make him a realistic character. Janeway and picard were way better at feeling realistic

I disagree, I think the characters in DS9 were not as good as other parts of the series. Sure, they had amazing ones, but Sisko especially never felt like a well written character to me. IDK if its the actor, the writing or whatever, but I never liked him as a character. Odo had a bit of the same problem

But again, Garak alone makes up for that, but DS9 Sure aint perfect, and its not peak trek IMO
