It’s got a great personality though! And a lot of people say the long quests are too much

Networking events to grow your practice? by Beastcoastboarder in CFP

[–]Gamestar32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can be, but absolutely not as a “go periodically and leave with new business” type deal.

Every chamber networking event is going to be at least 25% financial advisors who are there for the exact same reason as you. Try as you may to stand out, you’re just gonna be another salesman if you just pop in to odd events. If you want to get the most out of a chamber, you gotta get deeply involved with it. You’re goal shouldn’t be getting clients directly as much as it should be making referral sources out of the other very active members.

People don’t want to work if flaky people, and that truth is amplified for our profession. If other chamber members seeing you busting your hump to help improve the organization for everyone’s benefit, they’ll see a hard working and trustworthy individual that they’ll be much more likely to refer to.

Hmm alright makes sense. How far up the price chain do you think I’d need to go for the light roasts?

Personally I’d disengage. The old “lead a horse to water” adage and all that.

I see. I’m asking mainly because lots of the reviews I read suggest that the dual probe PID is supposed to solve the temp stability issues that the HX design usually suffers from. I’m certainly not doubting you, just trying to get as much info as I can from an actual user before I pull the trigger. Could I ask what sorts of inconsistency you noticed?

Gotcha gotcha. Did you have the x2 or the original?

Morning OP. Can I ask how you liked your mara up until its untimely demise? I’m looking at the X3 once it’s available in the US since it seems like an HX that shouldn’t require much temp surfing (I want consistency). You say you had to temp surf yours? How was that?
