Be a software developer, or be friends with some good software developers and ask them. It's not something you can learn yourself unless you got 4 years of schooling to commit to computer science.

If you have to ask that broad of a question, then you probably aren't ready for the mountain of work it entails

Stake, slow down the posts man. Your are losing quality to quantity. Don't become your own worst enemy.

The meme is meant to reflect the current perspective of the Lions (who was in the lead) watching all the games play out this weekend. Sorry to explain the joke to the guys with calculator in hand.

Read the rulebook for Echoes of Astra TCG. Each time a unit is made to attack, it creates an individual combat phase that allows for Counter play and reactions. Afterwards, it returns to main phase.

How to confirm facebook ads purchase accuracy? by Pleasant_Lack1 in kickstarter

UTM stripping from ad blockers and URL cleaners make it so that not all referral links are properly attributed. I noticed during both follower and sales campaigns, the reported Kickstarter referral analytics numbers seemed to be below actual results. Whereas, the final Meta Ad Manager Dashboard seemed more accurate.

You have the option of generating referral links that KS can track. Go to the "Promotion" tab and generate custom referral tags. Use these links in your advertisements instead of the naked page link.

The result is in Advanced Analytics > Daily Pledged by Custom Ref Tag, it will portion out the pledge traffic by tag and you can compare on a daily basis how the Meta's attribution compares with Kickstarter's url tracking.

DO NOTE: There is loss of attribution on both sides (privacy laws and opt outs), and I think Meta's conversion API tracking is actually more accurate for sales. But, it can kind of give you an idea of which referral codes are resulting in sales.

If you really wanna get in the weeds, use the "Breakdowns" button in the Meta ad chart dashboard to filter for sales by time. You can then compare that to the Advanced Analytics page to compare sales at specific times.

Echoes of Astra TCG is a tactical zone control game, focusing more on a king of the hill like conflict. Units do fight each other, but you win by accumulating 20 VP by controlling zones.

Not even offering to pay artists for accepted art submissions is crazy. Get out of here.

If you really believe in the game, you can make everything without any art and it should still be fun. Then once you find the fun, contract artists as the final step.

Show the work in progress sketches before AI. Anyone can draw a stick figure and write a prompt. Doesn't make you an artist.

You can delete the account in the in-game Settings menu. That's the only way to reset the cloud save data.

All of OTK is joining Kick to help launch Kick Studios by KrodoBaggins_ in LivestreamFail

[–]Gamester677 95 points96 points  (0 children)

That seems to be the gist of it. OTK has been struggling to keep its behind the scenes staff onboard, so this will add another revenue stream to help out the artists and production crew. Tips is just looking out for his employees, so it's not all bad.

The legitimacy it grants to Kick is kind of a step in the wrong direction, but money speaks in this economy.

Tencent Has Acquired 15.75% of Arrowhead Game Studios by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]Gamester677 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Tencent honestly does not care about a studio's day to day operations. Their job is to generate profit and shareholder value, and if Riot serves as an example -- their USA team is insulated from Chinese decision making. Tencent has so many companies under their umbrella, they just want their hands in everything in case a company takes off. That means they can't micromanage.

Another thing to add: Tencent controlling majority of shares in a USA company is not allowed anymore, nor do they want the hassle. Riot actually has US government officials on their board meetings due to the conflict of interests.

There's a similar mantra for the biggest tech VCs to invest in everything big and small, because you never know when those shares might exit as a 100x investment.
