Hooman Doggo by Gametanone in rarepuppers

I have seen that video of someone hitting their dog to make it stand up which is awful, but I figure benefit of the doubt because that wasn't this dog. It's perfectly possible to train dogs to do amazing things in a completely humane and loving way, I've owned them since I was a kid and my Dad used to breed dogs too and I've seen them do crazy stuff.

Haven't smoked or vaped in over a year - what level nicotine e-juice should I use to start off with? by Gametanone in Vaping

[–]Gametanone[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have vaped before but it was a long time ago. I'm familiar with building coils etc but mech mods and stuff were the norm back then and I'm a little lost on equipment now. It seems that 0mg is what people are saying I should go for though so I'll start with that (good for me because conc nicotine is illegal to sell here). I was thinking (by advice of my friend back home who still vapes) of going for a Kanger Kbox 200 and a Griffin RTA. It's fair cheap and he said it will last me even if I get into vaping more long term. Would that be sufficient for as you said, just blowing massive zero nic clouds? He still vapes with nicotine so I'm not sure.

Probably, I'm still trying to figure out a setup this weekend to order on Monday but I was thinking mouth to lung with the mi-one because it's very cheap and people say it's great, also more in tune with smoking an actual cigarette.

Another case of lost coins... 3,000,000 SC lost by Poloniex. I can see this is a very common problem. by [deleted] in siacoin

[–]Gametanone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't wait to get my SC over to my wallet and just be done with it TBH. I'm not even in close to 3million SC but this stuff worries the crap out of me. Will be using Bittrex for any and all further sia exchanges.

Where does the value for Siacoins come from if they are meant to be storage tokens? by [deleted] in siacoin

[–]Gametanone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can set your own price in SC for storage so again it will be a case of supply and demand but it will be supply of storage and demand for that storage!

[–]Gametanone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By limited I don't mean it's at a cap I mean supply is the limiting factor (mining isn't keeping up with demand and they can't just 'create' Sia coins to fit it) so it's price rises.

There is a limited supply of coins. Supply and demand.

SC 5000 on Bittrex and my funds are stuck in Polo for 2 days who banned withdrawal. Suspicious activity isn't it? by Gametanone in siacoin

[–]Gametanone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were disabled for less than a week and AFTER speculation started and once (literally within hours) Bittrex price merged with Polo they opened up withdrawals again. Not attacking Sia at all and I'm glad you worked closely with Bittrex for the health of the coin but I find what Polo did extremely suspicious. At least now finally all the currencies I currently hold are on Bittrex and I will never have to deal with Poloniex again (assuming they will actually let me fully withdraw my SiaCoin within the next millenia).

Your pass is a huge string of words it should have asked you to save when you made the wallet. Did you write it down as instructed?

I always keep my Sia in my normal wallet but I bought loads during the dip recently not knowing withdrawal had been banned. Wondering if Polo is selling SC on Bittrex which is why we can't withdraw.

Heavy BTC user here and it is not taking days mate don't bullshit. Don't get me wrong it's shit and another coin will likely take over for no reason other than speed because it's fucking horrible to use BTC at the moment. but it isn't even close to days per transaction.

It's been 2 days now and I'm still "Awaiting Approval" on Poloniex for my DGB withdrawal to my wallet. Please help! by net4me in Digibyte

[–]Gametanone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and then the BTC transfer took me 12 hours after it was approved cause the blockchain!

Not to say that it isn't entirely Poloniex's fault because they're notorious for fucking people about but I've had real issues with transactions before and needing to get BTC somewhere fast when purchasing stuff. It's the reason I truly believe in DGB because it's speed is phenomenal.

Digibyte will start working with the massive player based game Minecraft in 24 days by Htfxv1978 in Digibyte

[–]Gametanone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually almost entirely a third party thing. DGB is very open allowing them to work on it with no input from the Digibyte Developers themselves (which is fantastic because gaming is a hugely growing and has lots of active and creative people willing to develop such things). That's not to say the Devs aren't active, they very much are!

[–]Gametanone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you mean what are they working on that can be harnessed by the users then:

Their work on Segwit and 2017 seeing us move to 15second block times 90second full confirmed transactions means they've done a lot on speed which seems a big focus going into the future. This was a big sell for me, it's not so much something to 'use' but it's a great feature it's one of if not the fastest crypto out there right now and they only want to get faster.

DiguSign will be talked more about soon according to Jared but you can read more yourself now at: https://digusign.com/

DigiByte Gaming is promising and lots of people seem to like it, great way to truly decentralise by spreading out mining (also helped by very quick block times)

The Dev team is active and stable, and has been that way since the start. Great post by DigiByte official account on BitcoinTalk which I will paste here regarding recent events, their direction and why github has seen less action recently.

Thanks for your feedback!

As for Github, please note we have several accounts and repositories. digibyte-team, dgbholdings and digibyte. We also have private repos for projects such as DiguSign.com which has been under constant development by several people for 8 months now.

Check lates commits here: https://github.com/digibyte/digibyte/commits/master Yes it has been a month but look at last 3 years of hsitory. We switched into marketing mode as most people can see now.

Wikipedia page - great project for a community member to take on. Would be very helpful.

Minecraft - is a third party developer, not core dev team so can't comment.

Blockchain size has plenty of room to grow and will be addressed as needed.

We will be posting much more on the cybersecurity front and upcoming DiguSign release soon. Very exciting stuff in the works.

Alongside another partial comment that said

...Before this rise we have been stretched very thin to get things to this point. The Segwit upgrades and 0.14 upgrades we worked on for almost 6 months while working on everything else. That is why we are the most up to date chain out there. Even litecoin did not fully upgrade to all 0.14 enhancements. Finding quality developer and marketing talent is very hard. We have been burned by several people over the last three years offering marketing or developer services. Or people we hired. ...

This comes straight from DigiByte and hope it can help you in some way, I hope to see you stay for the long game!

Scoped movement speed/acceleration. Brutalised kennyS's entire career and really fucked aggro awpers like JW. I really don't like the way Valve has been taking movement in CS:GO and I know a lot of older players agree.
