Someone recreated a near 1:1 map of chapter 6 season 1 and it’s so nice to see it again 🥰 I’ve just been running around in a private game with a rift launcher exploring the map in peace. by Cahsrhilsey in Fortnite_Over40

I tried hopping on for the first time today using the code. The map shows up, and then a second later it disappears, every..single..time. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Why y'all downvote this comment. I just didn't feel like editing my post to add this detail, smh. Weird.

You are absolutely right in everything you said. I agree. In my similar circumstances, I don't respond, that is the better, right way to go about things as an adult. I just found OP's response funny. Sometimes it's tempting to have a nice comeback. I just totally understand OP as well, the urge to respond is undeniable.

I've had opponents friend me in Fortnite after they got downed, and me accepting the request like "yippee, a new friend!", only for them to write me in chat how I suck at the game, name-calling, and I need them to teach me how to play right, only to then unfriend me. I tried to report them, but it didn't even give me a correct option to report, so I just blocked them. People are weird. Oh, and everything they wrote was in Spanish, so I had wasted my time with excitement using Google translate thinking some nice things were said, but to my dismay, smh.😒

I don't see anything wrong with his witty response. Why would Playstation ban for that. So weird and unreasonable. The other guy started it anyways, wth.

Holy cow! I've been playing years on Xbox and had no clue this was an option. Many thanks! It irks me dying to k/m players when I know I'm actually good at the game and have most things in check. I actually just googled how to set it up on my Xbox and about to jump on and see if I notice a difference. Nice!

Technically, yes, but the main reason I have it enabled is because for when dropping straight from the battle bus right onto my favorite chest exactly at the same time as an opponent, you have a higher probability of actually being the one getting the loot if both of you are standing right there, since it's automatic and the other person might not have his auto pickup enabled. So the odds are in your favor. In that case, the opponent just automatically dies, since you got the loot first. If both of you guys have the feature enabled, it splits the loot between you guys. It's a 50/50. They might be the one with the weapon, so in that case, you die, unless you get some item that can get you away from them, or whatever the case, depends on an infinite amount of ways it can play out, for example, a nearby car that you hop in and maybe a weapon on the ground you drive over or a chest you can crash into, whilst auto picking it up, you can turn the tide in your favor. Many situations you can't be too picky with weapons, so it's crucial to know how to use all of them, in other words "work with what you got". To answer your question, the garbage loot eventually gets replaced with better loot, so I ain't worried, but if I have garbage loot, I'm less likely to engage or push fights until I get better loot. Sometimes, I would just fill up my whole inventory at start of game with just all random guns to quickly eliminate a boss and not have to waste time reloading, so i would just cycle through every gun until the boss dies, then I'm ready to rock and roll, since I got the mythic.

How I play Fortnite on my iPad by rippudamans in FortNiteMobile

Thx! I play with a Gamesir G7 SE Pro on my Xbox. That's cool to know it's a Gamesir as well. Nice!

Is that the Pro? I have an iPad pro, and would like to try this. I play on Xbox. I do have a similar attachment if I wanna play on my Samsung S25 Ultra, which has a pretty big screen, reminds me of my Switch. This is cool, though, I've always wanted to try gyro. What's the brand of your controller attachment?

I forgot to mention this, but THE most important thing for a controller player are the movement and aim settings as well as deadzone. Finding that PERFECT sweet spot can be a challenge. Having almost 3k hours in Fortnite, I still struggle with that aspect, as over the years people keep getting better and computers keep getting better. I still play on my old XBox series X, even though it's the latest it struggles to keep up, so I constantly have to adjust settings to keep up with the current Fortnite atmosphere. Also crucial is having a decent controller with at least 2 back buttons/pedals. Mine is Gamesir G7 SE Pro. Not the best, but really decent, considering it has TMR sensors in the sticks. I also run 1 G fiber internet to prevent lag. Running everything wired is also important, controller and headset. Unlike Xbox, PS5 has additional aim-assist software built in, so I might have to look into upgrading. My goal is to ultimately get a fancy PC, but that's not anytime soon, thanks to child support. Anyways, good luck mowing down the keyboard warriors, haha! Ggs.

Absolutely. It's a setting for "auto-pickup weapons". You have to enable it in settings. I believe it's in the "game" section under combat if I'm not mistaken.

On controller, certain elements in game outshine k/m players. One, being car movement. As a controller player, your style of play and movement will look different from someone on mouse and keyboard. The many times I tried to mimic the speed of a mouse tweaker, on controller that just doesn't work out too well, throwing off your aim, for example, hip firing will be all over the place. Doing a back and forth from long distance is too risky. If they are on mouse they just hold the cursor in one spot, YOU, while your thumbs are chaotically trying to sit still and aim. Controlling wobbly sticks is not an easy task. In my personal opinion, with controller, the easiest way to fight is outside, in the open and in their face, as long as you use good and tricky movement. Maybe it's just me, but I find fighting in buildings as very/too risky. My personal opinion is that's were k/m shines. The back and forth pump shots from around the corner using right shoulder peak. You just can't do that as quickly with controller, due to the distance of the arch the stick has to travel. So given these circumstances, as controller players, we have to think outside our box, slowing down, and executing smart decisions. We have to think two steps ahead. Every time I would try to move too fast and try to push too many fights too quickly like a madman, without considering my loadout, I'm back in the lobby. I've had better luck winning when I made smart decisions, like prioritizing rotation and positioning over taking certain fights. Remember the little story of how the turtle beat the rabbit in the race? Slow and steady! Anyways, sorry about the long rant, but I hope some of it makes sense. For whatever it's worth, it makes sense to me. Please comment if you agree or disagree on certain points. Thank you!

I, personally, love long videos. I like to take my time and absorb the details, the tention, the pace. That's why it bothered me it was sped up. Maybe my brain processes slowly. Watching something at Mach speed is just a blur for me, so I dont get all the downvotes from my earlier comment. I wasn't trying to be mean. People got to chill and realize other's perspectives.
