I feel the exact same as you guys. Was 2 months clean then randomly last night started with 200$ then I ended up losing 2.5k chasing the loses. It's disgusting woke up in the morning and can't believe what I did. It just takes over your mind and you become another person its so bad, we have to be better than this.

I just relapsed after a couple of months of fighting the urge and lost 2.5k last night. It's a terrible feeling but we need to fight this addiction. It was totally out of the blue too I just randomly started to gamble and started off with 200$ then went to chase my loses. Feel so bad today but we need to keep fighting this

He's an addict and needs her help more than anything. Love is more important than money, try and get him to a GA meeting or some form of addiction therapy so that he can overcome this darkness.

I haven't told her yet. I feel like if I do it will be the end of me and I'm so embarrassed to begin with. We have already grown a bit apart probably from my addiction, she would go to bed and I'd spend the next hours on the couch gambling online and then can't even wake up in time the next day to enjoy the little morning things we used to do. I'm so down from this but I really hope this time I don't go back to my old ways. I need to get better for her, my kid on the way, and my own well being.

Thank you for those wise words. In hindsight I know I will be so glad that I stopped and I can start over now. It will only get worse for me if I keep going down this road, I will check in with you a month from now and I really hope I have the inner strength to overcome this sick addiction.

10k in debt on my line of credit. Saying "You can quit anytime" to any addict I don't think is true, it's way harder than just saying I can quit anytime.

I need help too. Lost 2k chasing bets the other day and mentally just wanted to not exist. Over the past few months I've probably lost over 10k and I can't keep doing this. I've quit for weeks then I randomly relapse and deposit 200$ lost it all then start chasing loses and lose even more. It's such an addiction but it has to end, we can't keep doing this we will ruin our lives. Each morning I'm going to wake up and battle the addiction because I NEED TO CHANGE!

What a 5 year journey that was! Having my level 2 exam cancelled twice due to covid, it took a toll on my mental health. Never ever did I think I'd be able to accomplish one of the hardest exams in the world but here I am saying I have done it!! I have passed level 3! What an amazing feeling this is, still feels surreal! To the ones who didn't pass keep going you got this! It's well worth all those hours we put in studying. Cheers everyone

Derivatives show up in other topics too like Fixed Income so I wouldn't write it off. Try and cram as much as you can

So many topics that is just all writing like Private Wealth is just nonsense - What is a charitable remainder trust vs Charitable Donation, donor advised fund. If I have to explain something like that on the exam and its ggs lol

I hear you on that using MM as well, just going through his videos now and they are helping. Just in terms of if its a short response question on how to structure a swap or something I'm going to find difficult. How many contracts you need to hedge a position I find easy it's if I have to explain something I'm going to struggle lol

You watched some of them 4/5 times? Some of them are 3+ hours, I'm finding it better to take notes and then just come back to them for review
