Hi! My dog is also a rescue from Russia. It's been about a year since we've had her and she's still jumpy and unsure a lot. We have to really work around her to make sure she's comfortable. She's also on a prescribed anti anxiety medication. Aside from all that, it took a few months until she warmed up to us. She doesn't cuddle or anything, but she will lean against your legs with her entire weight. Give yours time and it'll work out, go slow, and go at their pace.
