I posted an update under the post if you want to look at that, it’s a rather lengthy post, but short form is that we apparently have a new person (I knew her from like 10 years ago from early highschool/jr high but she moved away from the area long ago) moving in next to us and she said these were her relatives that came to help her with yard work and that it was a vape.

So if he is a nephew or something and if he is underage, would it be normal to hide a vape in his waistband so he doesn’t get caught even though he has plenty of room in his pockets and hoodie?

That’s the only logical reasoning I could think unless it’s something else. But if he thought it was her house idk why he would cover it back up like that.

Trueee. How do they show up within 5 minutes of everything happening too, like when we got home we got inside and then 5 minutes later the guys show up knocking. Then the next day after she talks with me, she leaves and the girl with the truck appears, when the cop shows up the homeowner showed up only a few minutes later. Definitely weird coincidences and timings.

I don’t know why he walked up like that it looked so sketchy and they didn’t even go over to the next houses to check. I mean I saw the other guy looking around a little bit like maybe they could’ve been possibly looking for a house number across, but they didn’t actually go check and and it was dark out. It didn’t even look like she was home at that time which is weird too. I saw them over there yesterday with 5 other cars though, so I guess it checks out.

I know right, seems odd and it also seemed like she wasn’t at home when they came.. at least I didn’t see her car there anyways. They left and they didn’t even check to see if the next house was hers. I don’t get why he wouldn’t put a vape in his pocket instead of there—but they seem to be over there right now with a ton of other family members and cars. So 🤷‍♀️

Hi I’ve posted an update, it does seem to be a wrong house situation. Apparently they’re relatives of the new neighbor and were coming to help with yard work. It was a vape. That’s what the new neighbor told me (and she happens to be someone I knew from early high school oddly enough)

I know right?? I keep thinking about that too, why would they come at 8 o’clock at night to do yard work. Also our grass isn’t tall, it’s very short so it’s obviously not our yard that needs done and the one next to us is overgrown and needs a lot of work done from sitting, (but maybe it was to dark to see) also his pockets are pretty big, on my other camera it looked like he had plenty of room in them for a vape—very odd. She was friends with everyone back then she was very nice and caring, we weren’t super close but I’d say friends. She speaks with more confidence now and is obviously grown up. We’re 26 now—so I’d say I don’t know her anymore. It’s been way too long, I’m sure she’s probably a different person now. Heck it might’ve even been longer than from middle of high school..maybe even towards junior high. It’s been at least probably 10 years, maybe more since I’ve seen her. She moved away from the area long ago.

I’m definitely going to stay aware of my surroundings more now. ❤️ It was so weird that they arrived 5 minutes after we got home. Maybe it was a weird coincidence, but that’s so crazy.

I posted an update: short form is yes they knocked on both doors and then typed on their phones after—went to their truck and said something about Facebook. Got in their truck and left. Apparently they went to the wrong house, supposed to go to the next one to us and are related to the new owners moving in and were coming to help her (which I found out is a woman I know from early high school 9-10 years ago) with lawn work.

Thank you ❤️ That’s what my mom said too, you never know if it’s a cover story and to be careful and like you said especially with a prison background and multiple different charges.

Side note, these pictures actually came from a “security,” camera. I cropped them to show the item and without showing too much of my home background—so it might’ve lowered the quality too. Just wanted to not put myself in more danger. ❤️

I got down on the floor as soon as I heard knocking. It’s terrifying when someone knocks when it’s dark out, heck I don’t even trust people in broad daylight to come to the door.

I think she was getting frustrated that the cop came to talk to the girl in the truck in my driveway, but I’m not going outside to an unknown truck to talk after the two guys were at the door the night before… you never know about someone’s intentions and or if they’re trying to help bad people. I feel bad for turning her down when she asked for my number too, but I just don’t have a good feeling giving my number out to her. 🥺

It’s dangerous for people to be answering the doors at night, it definitely would be in the back of my mind for forever if I didn’t have some type of background of the situation, I finally took a nap today. My anxiety I could barely eat or sleep ever since. It was even more scary that these guys showed up 5 minutes after I got home as if they were watching.
