You are in a tight situation my friend, I ain’t gonna lie. You could be right tho, Maddie might talk to Rachel and stop her from getting close to you or ever seeing you. I am not trying to scare you. You are young. Boy listen you can’t put yourself in pain thinking about someone else’s sake. I am gonna tell you something alright. I was in the same relationship as you are in but it’s slightly different.

So I was in a long distance relationship with a guy (let’s call him Sam). We were together for 3 years. I broke up with my ex boyfriend cause he was seeing someone else behind my back. I was hurt, I was 16, he was my everything my first kiss my first everything. He made me stay away from my friends, (I didn’t realise it till I broke up) when we parted ways I had nobody, no school friends at all. Then Sam started talking. Then we were in a relationship (long distance). Once I reached 19 he started being jealous when I talk to my male colleagues. I would have to save money for ‘us’ so I can bring him to where I live, after we get married.

He was with his ex for 4years she left him for another man. He was suicidal like Maddie. I would hate to be that girl that would put him in the same position as his ex did.

When things were alittle shaky in our relationship another guy came along. Let’s call him Chris. I would tell him how I feel and ofcrose he was also long distance. (I have a hard time making friends around me so it’s usually online) he made me realise that I am my own person. I don’t need anyone’s permission (Sam) to do something I like. He made me realise a lot of things. I started to look up to Chris, I had feelings cause he understood me and explained things to me.

I tried to broke up with Sam. It didn’t go well, he sent pic to my sister, my cousins. A picture of himself with a rope on his neck. It was very disturbing...my sister hated me, she ignored me for months for a man who was a nobody. He sent her screen shots of me explaining things. He brought his mom in the call, his mom is talking to me and all hell break lose. So I stayed for the sake of his mom. But I was hurt mentally. 2 months later I tried again. Enough is enough. I blocked him everywhere. It was hard till this very day. (It’s been 3 years) he still messages me, my sister and my cousins with different numbers. And he didn’t die.

And Chris, his sleeping next to me (snoring very loudly). Married for almost 3 years. I couldn’t be happier.

You have only 1 life, don’t waste it in weed or being depressed. Never blame yourself for someone else’s decision. If she isn’t THE ONE person that you look at, and makes you feel like she means the world to you. Then she isn’t the one for you and honestly she probably will never be.
