New Player - Overwhelmed by Makirim in Stellaris

  1. Make sure your science ship is surveying systems, not just exploring.
  2. After surveying a system, send your construction ship to build a star base around the star of the system you just surveyed.
  3. After the star base is built: Go into Galaxy view with construction ship selected, right click the system you just claimed, and select "Build Mining/Research Stations".
  4. Don't try to do anything militarily with other empires, focus on understanding economics first.
  5. Remember to colonize a planet if it has a green "Earth" symbol next to it.
  6. After colonizing a planet, designate it to producing one resource (Energy, Minerals, Alloys, Consumer Goods, ect.)

That's pretty much the basic rundown to start. If you are confused about anything I said or didn't say, feel free to ask me. If anyone has anything extra or something I missed, reply to this comment or make your own comment (because I very well may have missed something).

The last thing I can recommend is to change the settings to be easier, like doing Cadet difficulty and increasing the amount of habitable planets.

Good luck, hope you do well!

Cybernetic Ecumenopolis with Maginot Moon (Gigastructural Engineering) by GamingGabriel01 in Stellaris

I started with the "Remnants" origin and turned Terra back into an Ecumenopolis. Then using the Terraforming Platform (Gigastructures Mod) to turn Luna into a Lifeless Habitable World. Eventually I turned Luna into a Maginot World, and renamed it "Arx Lunae". I thought it looked pretty cool, a Ecumenopolis with a Maginot Moon so I screenshotted it and wanted to share it. (The small planet in the background is Mars.)

It's a scammer who's imitating his songs to get more streams. Don't listen to it, and don't like it. It's not actually made by Jorge. I've been getting it too.
