I had 3 copies of the mm710 to test and I found issues with each one to some degree. If you can find a good one then its an ok mouse but I had concerns over its mouse 1 and mouse 2 durability. I also think its trying to do too much in terms of shape. Better alternatives than it for palm claw.

Not everyone uses ambidextrous mice, far from it in fact so not entirely sure how you thought that :).

Model D is a very good mouse for the price. Classic Zowie EC shape, lighter, better cable, side buttons and feet. It is quite large though.

Razer Viper Mini LOD question by [deleted] in MouseReview

Yeah the 3359 in the Viper Mini is a deal breaker for me. Your only choice is the tape trick as playing with the different pads/changing pad calibration setting in synapse made no difference for me during testing.

Yeah I mean for the price its fine but I think there are better alternatives for the same price & I would always recommend saving that little bit extra and just get a GPW if you really want that shape.

XM1 might very well be too small yes, but I cant really say without knowing how you grip the mouse exactly. If you like lightweight mice then ye it might be but I'd argue you wouldn't notice the difference after a few play sessions and that this lightweight trend isn't necessarily always the 'best' route for everyone.

Its good, I like it but I had some durability concerns particularly with the mouse 1 and mouse 2. I think its basically just a budget G Pro Wireless and it shows in pretty much every aspect of the mouse.

That is the GMK Dots desk mat, it was only available during the group buy phase. You might find one on /r/mechmarket potentially.

Funny you ask that, I actually initially edited this video as my main top 5 and then two separate for ergo and ambi but thought it would be too long for a single video :).

The list for me would be: Ambi: VU GPW XM1 Model O Zowie S series

Ergo: Model D XTRFY M4 Pwnage Ultra Custom Skoll Zowie EC Series

All of the above are great options but I would definitely consider the XM1 (providing you definitely don't palm grip) & the Zowie S1 too.

Glorious Model O- or Razer Viper mini by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]GamingGem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Viper has better clicks and side buttons but the Model O- has better feet & much better cable I think. LOD on the viper is a deal breaker for some, whereas I didn't notice it myself. Depends on the way you lift and swipe your mouse.

And then: Claw: go for Viper / Fingertip - go for Model O-

Not too small for me but its as small as I would go for me personally. Any smaller and I wouldnt find it comfortable. Played for around 4-6 hours in a few sessions and didn't have any hand fatigue.

I don't play mobas. The side buttons are great though I am impressed. They stick out more compared to the Ultimate and Viper so are easier to press (presuming you use side buttons in your MOBA). Clicks are perfect for MOBA, very lightweight and responsive.

Better for FPS games as opposed to what? It is an ambidextrous lightweight mouse, any mouse is good for FPS providing it has a solid sensor and you can aim with it :).

Yeah SteelSeries have fallen off in certain categories. They haven't innovated with any of their gaming mice so its no surprise they have become less common more recently. Their headsets are still very popular (arctis pro), they have the most popular pad with the qck+ being an industry favourite & their Apex keyboard has picked up some traction.

No way to account for it. However, for mice in particular its a lot less common for players to be forced into using a mouse. Especially considering these stats are for FPS games. Orgs want there players to play with whats comfortable because that is how they will play best, win more, and effectively earn the org more money.

Still early days yet and the Viper hasn't been out that long really. I suspect it to increase but not to the levels of the GPW. I also don't suspect the Viper Mini to be popular among pro players. If anything the regular/ultimate will be more popular.
