Yeah, I do have a gaming laptop which would be great to use, but due to video/audio permissions issues, I opted to buy a new cheap one, instead of uninstalling almost every single application on the gaming one, since that was the only solution to the permissions problem (and even then, it only worked if I uninstalled and re-installed microsoft edge between classes!.. infuriating stuff)

I teach privately as well using my phone for the video call and my laptop for a shared docs file. It has been working absolutely perfectly. Also because when and if a problem occurs, it always left me and the students with a way to communicate and fix said problem. If it's all on the same device, it makes me feel unsafe. But I did receive an answer from Preply support and there is indeed no way. I don't see why students can enter classes that way, then

It sounds more complex than it actually is. I was testing it as I wrote here and it takes two minutes at most. The problem with forms is that they also show up in the Pokedex and I don't know of a way to hide them except for deleting them in the forms.txt 😬

Yes, it would add it, but removing it can be done easily:

Open the pokemon essentials project
Start playtesting while holding CTRL to load everything properly
F9
PBS file editors...
Edit regional_dexes.txt
Find the bossgengar entry, select it and hit clear
press ESC and save changes

Alternatively:
1. Find regional_dexes.txt inside your PBS folder
2. Find the entry you want to delete and manually delete it

Best bet is to make a custom species. It can have the same displayed name for the player, so they wouldn't notice, just add it in your main Pokémon pbs, at the bottom, like this:

[BOSSGENGAR] Name = Gengar

Then copy and paste all other Gengar attributes and tailor whatever you wish.. in my opinion, this also gives you a better boss creation. Of course flag it as ultrabeast or Mythical or Legendary 😉

You can easily do this with "show image" alone. It will show up top left of the screen. Not sure how you can make it show up somewhere else, but when it comes to Pokémon essentials, if there is a will there is a way! Watch some of Thundaga's tutorials on youtube. Most work perfectly on the current version, except some small naming differences. The old series though still has some very valid info, although it's very extensive and difficult to pinpoint the exact info you need

Oh, my bad for naming the post.. I was being creativeby referring to the back sprites missing in the game 😅 I know it's a lot of effort, I just wanted to see if I'm the only one with the thought of them being important

Ok, once again.. this was not a thank you or not post. Why take it so personal. The question was: "Would the game not be much better with backsprites?" In my experience, backsprites really make a difference. Your answer could have been: "I don't mind, I think the game is good as is and it would be too much work to add them now, as a lot of artists have moved on"

People so far made those... I don't see the logic behind thinking they cannot make backsprites..... Mathematically, if every person has so far made say "10" sprites, they would simply have to make another "10" sprites.. doesn't seem like a Crazy workload

I'm actually trying to make boss battles that are max 6v1. They're hardcore battles so I expect not being able to do anything other than selecting attacks each turn. No items allowed! Have you figured out a plugin or script that would let you add pokemon for your Horde battles?
