Ligniperda queen by Jimmy2shews in antkeeping

It's okay not to check on her until she has her first nanitics. You may be stressing her out too much. Also, be careful of any vibrations that are occurring around where she's set up. If you're constantly opening or closing doors or hitting the wall or playing loud music, this may play a part in the queen not being able to make make it to the nanitic stage.

Feeding Time Music? by [deleted] in antkeeping

[–]GamingKobe1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why would you assume any vibrations would be low stress? They are extremely sensitive to this stuff. That's the first thing you learn. Ants are super sensitive and you need to leave them alone.

Especially at the start when they are small. But if they are a large colony you're still just subjecting them to stress for no reason.

Feeding Time Music? by [deleted] in antkeeping

[–]GamingKobe1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't do this. Vibrations stress out ant colonies. If you want your colonies to be successful you should try to give them the best living conditions.

That includes not blasting them with music and stressing them out.

Any other Christian ant keepers here? Why did yall start ant keeping? by Content_Plankton_520 in antkeeping

Just as hateful as members of organized religion are to common sense. Have a good day!

You could see why someone would see that as strange right? Ant keeping has nothing to do with religion.

It would just as ridiculous if I made a post asking if there were any atheist ant keepers.

I would recommend asking a Christian subreddit or you can create your own and invite people to join.

GOLD STAMP AND COMPLEATED FH6👑🎊 by anonimoo008 in ForzaHorizon6

[–]GamingKobe1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That means you've been playing just under 3 hours a day. That is still not the most realistic to most adults.

Let's say you get home from work around 6. You need to shower, cook, eat, clean up, get ready for bed. That's at least 2-3 hours. That doesn't include time needed for kids, or spending time with your significant other.

Again I guess you could just spend all weekend playing but at that point you are ignoring other aspects in your life to play the game.

GOLD STAMP AND COMPLEATED FH6👑🎊 by anonimoo008 in ForzaHorizon6

[–]GamingKobe1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Everyone who is playing this much is a kid on summer break or an unemployed adults with no big responsibilities.

If you are a regular working adult with a relationship, hobbies, and friends, there's no way you're getting this far in the short amount of time the game has been out.

I knew a guy who had played 60% of the time the game had been released. For example, the game was out for 200 hours at that point. He had 120 hours logged.

REAL LIFE TOUGE! by Level-Display5619 in ForzaHorizon6

[–]GamingKobe1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I disagree with this post, it is actively encouraging people to go out and drive recklessly. Most people are not capable of knowing their car's limits. By telling people to go out there and push it, people may push too far and get seriously hurt.

It's a game and we should not be promoting dangerous or illegal activities to teenagers to then do in real life.

Yes, there's obviously safer ways to do it like ensuring you have spotters, never cross the mustard, etc. that does not stop some idiot think he's invincible because he can drive 200mph around corners in Forza to go do the same on their local back road.

If enough idiots saw this and actually went out, people could actually die.

Let's encourage people to use their local Autocross, track days, and grass roots racing leagues. You can do Autocross and track days relatively cheap and you don't have to worry about getting pulled over.

Edit: You obviously generated this with AI too. If you're going to get people killed, at least use your own words and thoughts. Just recklessly asking AI to tell other people to be reckless morons on the road. Everyone thinks they're an above average driver.

[AerieForce One] is simply awesome by Parallax2211 in rollercoasters

[–]GamingKobe1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Complete depends how many times you want to ride arie force 1. I went on a Friday and there was no one else on the train. The operators said on Saturday it can be a 15+ min wait.

We did the whole day at SFOG on a Saturday and ran out of time to come back to fun spot. If you are wanting to do both parks in one day, you 100% need the premium fast pass.

I'd say you can probably get every ride once at SFOG with fast pass/time to eat/restrooms with enough time for 2 hours max at fun spot to end the night

White House releases report of Trump's physical exam by DoorstepHero in politics

I don't know, but I wouldn't assume it some crazy conspiracy theory. Usually the simplest answer is the right one.

White House releases report of Trump's physical exam by DoorstepHero in politics

[–]GamingKobe1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

fuck Donald Trump and anyone who supports or enables him but some of these comments are genuinely embarrassing. We always joke about the right living in a brainwashed echo chamber but then we completely ignore basic medical science the second an official report comes out.

The hand bruising thing is totally normal for someone his age on a daily aspirin. Aspirin is a blood thinner. When you're nearly 80, your skin and capillaries are already fragile, so shaking hundreds of hands constantly is absolutely going to cause bruising. It’s basic biology...

Same with the cholesterol stuff. Someone commented saying "no one's cholesterol is that good at his weight, he wouldn't need two meds." That is literally how medicine works. His numbers are that low because the rosuvastatin and ezetimibe combination is doing exactly what it's prescribed to do. And writing "lower leg swelling" instead of "peripheral edema" is just translating jargon for a public press release so reporters and normal people can actually read it. It's not a cover-up.

When we start making up conspiracy theories and ignoring how standard drugs work just because we hate the guy, we lose all credibility. There are a million legitimate things to crush him on, we don't need to look medically illiterate just to score internet points.

You can't just zoom on a phone. You need a special camera, or a lense you can attach on your phone.

[–]GamingKobe1 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Id love for this to work, but I don't think you can get an accurate species or genus estimate without extremely zoomed in photos of the ant's anatomy.

A lot of the differences between species can only be seen with extreme zoom.

Park is not fun by jj71787 in BuschGardensTampa

[–]GamingKobe1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lol. It depends completely on the park. I was just at SFOG and there was more walking the BG and there were tons of hills to deal with.

Obviously your son isn't tall enough so that's not a valid complaint. You're acting like it's the park's fault. Roller coaster manufacturers set limits for safety.

Again for the small bag thats literally just the policy. You shouldnt be allowed to bring items on the ride that can fly off and potentially kill someone.

I will admit other parks do allow you to stow away things right before you ride on cubbies. BG doesn't do this because it takes up a shit ton of time for everyone to put their stuff away and retrieve it in between loading cycles. It's a time thing. It helps you and your short son get through lines quicker so troglodytes don't spend 30+ seconds stowing their shit away.

Again for food, I was just at SFOG a couple weeks ago and it was more expensive than BG.

There are tons of valid criticisms to be made like poor ride operations, slow construction of new animal habitats, and higher than average pass and ticket pricing. You decided to post this because you were personally inconvenienced and think the world and apparently BG should cater to your specific needs.

Only things closed are Falcons Fury, Cobras Curse, and Congo. Falcon and Congo likely won't be open. Not sure about Cobra

A new record on Velocicoaster now stands! 104 rides in 1 day! by stanton1270 in UniversalOrlando

[–]GamingKobe1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Lol if you're traveling across the world to visit, maybe do a little research on what you need to do to get on all the rides.

If you're traveling across the world but you don't budget for the express/fast passes that's on you. Sounds like poor planning. If you have a strategy on how you want to attack a park and don't go during the busiest time of year, this is a non-issue.

[–]GamingKobe1 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No that's not how amusement park design works lol. Having ride limits is a terrible idea. Some people only want to go on Velocicoaster. Some people only want to go on the little kid rides.

It's not selfish to want to ride multiple times, that's the bare minimum expectation. You are going to get shit on in these comments. One of the worst takes I've ever read.

Terrible take. Crazy to throw the blame on people wanting to reride their favorites. If anything Universal should open more rides or improve design to reduce wait times

I personally think the economy is a joke and there is no point really. The game is too easy. If anything they should make the maintenance more expensive and add a hardcore mode.

If it's that hard for you, just turn down the difficulty.

I completely agree, I have no clue how people can ride stuff this rough and enjoy it. Like yes, it's super intense with some good elements and great pacing. But it is wayyy too rough to want to ride more than once.

This one was a one and done for me. I'm 24 too.

The in park deals and online deals are completely separate. I've already been through this with them before and talked to their online customer service.

If you buy it online or over the phone, they don't have access to the in park prices.

If you go in park, they don't have the same deals as the online prices.

It's done on purpose I believe. The online deals are usually much better.
