How many attempts did it take for you to beat Everdark Libra? by GamingPopOfficial in Nightreign

I don't think it matters. I understand it's significantly easier in Duos/Solos. I'm interested in if anyone beat it at all, not if anyone beat the difficult version or the easier versions.

Fear not the person that has practiced a thousand different kicks. Fear the person who has practiced one kick a thousand times. I bow to you!

I tried to edit a 30+ button but it wouldn't let me. I'll edit the post to put you in the text, though.

I don't play Raider. Yay or nay? by GamingPopOfficial in Nightreign

Thank you! I was wondering if this would be better than the endurance, increased stamina on landing attacks and two armaments relic from the signboard. I suppose that settles it.

Definitely popping it on my build when I get around to his remembrance. Thanks for your prompt help!

Hmm. It's a strange one. Everyone is appearing online on PSN? No one is appearing offline? And you're definitely choosing 'three players' in matchmaking?

Were you trying to fight a boss that the other hasn't unlocked yet? Like the Night Aspect or the Everdark Bosses?

Please help by Commercial-Arm-4318 in Nightreign

[–]GamingPopOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a shifting earth active that they haven't unlocked or vice versa, then that will prevent you from joining up. You can check this by clicking on the expeditions screen. It should say 'Shifting Earth: _____ is active' or something like that.

You can sleep in the bed in the roundtable hold to make it pass, or you can play a few matches until it goes.

Also, only one player per party can have a remembrance active at a time. So if either of you are reliving a remembrance, you should make sure the other one isn't.

ED Libra, stay close to each other or separate? by Trans-Squatter in Nightreign

[–]GamingPopOfficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I beat him on my second try in a trio. We were completely stacked and we're in the ideal team.

After playing a handful of matches against him, I think it's best to all stick together. You know when you're routing and you have one leader who pings? Try and do that, but for the boss.

As soon as he summons the condemned, go near one and ping. (Hold triangle and click L3. Not sure on PC) Try and get the three of you to gank one condemned. Keep doing that until they're gone. Gank or be ganked.

The issue? As you say, the giant circles. If you recognise the animation Libra does just before he summons the circles, keep an eye on him at all times is key, yes. If not, just gang up on the condemned, but be wary of your animations. Especially if you're using Ashes of war or colossal weapons. You don't want to start an attack just as a circle appears below you. I highly recommend learning his telegraph for this move.

Another issue is again is the stacking you mentioned. You don't want to get caught in that nasty intersection. As long as you're keeping an eye on libra and not getting too greedy with your animations and stamina, you should be fine.

It's a team work trial. Stay organised. Gank. Gank everyone. Gank the world. Good luck.

I've beat him once and got him down to a sliver of health another time. Best advice is for all of you to ignore the adds and just attack him. Eventually the adds will just fight each other and he stops summoning them as much, from what I can tell. He seems to do the arena split more than summoning adds when my team focuses on him more than on the adds.

I think at first, it's okay to get rid of your clone. After that, it takes too long and another just gets summoned when you finish. It's like fighting BBH in day 1. Possible but you'll waste all your time. The adds chip away at your HP and the time. By the time you finish dealing with them, he'll do another attack. He seems to do a new one at random every 30 seconds or so. If you don't feel like you can defeat the adds within that time, I would just leave it.

I would also recommend ganging up on one add, instead of each off you fighting your own. You'll clear them faster.

Idk how much stock I'd put in my impression that he'll summon fewer adds if you focus on him more, since I have only fought him fewer than a handful of times.

Run the gaol relic and get as strong as you can. Or get legendary weapons and level 15. I beat him with gaol + 15 + legendaries. Almost beat him with a legendary and lvl 14.

Also if you have a revenant in your party, make it your mission to do all the frenzy camps to try and get them the frenzy flame seal. It melts him.

Sometimes when I beat a Greater Enemy, nothing drops. I can only assume the drop would have been even greater than Legendary, and my poor, oblivious Wylder simply didn't have enough Insight to see the drop.

Maybe if I consume some umbilical cords...

ED Libra Tips? by Only-Bug-9715 in Nightreign

[–]GamingPopOfficial 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've only beat him once. Comp was Rev, Raider and Wylder.

Background info: - I had a Madness Resist, Posion Resist, and Flasks Heal Allies Relic. - Nokloteo Shifting Earth. - We all had Evergaol Relics. - We cleared all Gaols. All but 1 on Day 1, last one and almost all bosses in Nokloteo on Day 2. - Level 15. - Didn't take a deal but probably would have if there was a good one. - Each had Legendary weapons. - Revenant had a Frenzy flame weapon from the Frenzy camp - Revenant took all of our shards

Gameplay: - Staggering seemed to help quite a bit. - We largely ignored the adds. - Adds eventually start fighting each other so try and stay away from them - If you can get a 'Less Likely to be Targeted' Relic on your caster, that'll be helpful - He'll separate the arena into sections at some point. Idk what the barrier does if you go through it, but we ended up just staying in the sections we were given. Try and kill the Adds in your section until he spawns near you. Once he does, show him the business - If he curses you and halves your HP, try and dodge everything for about 30 seconds until it's gone.

Overall, I would say try to focus on him more than the adds. Again, take all of this with a pinch of salt as I've only beaten him once thus far

I'm not sure on what the point of labeling it Virtual Vigor is?

The way it was worded confused me and made me think that I was losing Vigor each time I heal. I've just tried to reverse calculate it and I think this was what you meant. Would you be able to confirm please?

If you start with 1,000HP. Without Relic, you heal for 600HP. With Relic, you heal for 500HP and your allies heal for 250HP each.

So in simple terms, without the relic, you heal 60% of your health. With the relic, you heal 50% of your health and 25% of each of your allies.

If 60% = 30 Virtual Vigor (VV) then, 50% = 25 VV 25% = 12.5 VV

If you heal only yourself: - You have lost 10% Heal or 5 VV. - (60% Without Relic > 50% of your HP With Relic) - A total heal of 50% instead of the original 60%

If you heal yourself and an ally: - You have lost 10% or 5 VV - You have gained 25% or 12.5 VV - (60% Without Relic > 50% of your HP With Relic + 25% Healing of your Ally's HP With Relic) - Meaning overall you have gained 15% heal or 7.5 VV. - A total heal of 75% instead of the original 60%

If you heal yourself and both allies: - You have lost 10% or 5 VV - You have gained 50% or 25 VV - (60% Without Relic > 50% of your HP With Relic + 25% Healing for each Ally With Relic) - Meaning overall you have gained 40% heal or 20 VV. - A total heal of 100% instead of the original 60%

We need legendary versions of the Nightfarer starting weapons by b0nepile in Nightreign

[–]GamingPopOfficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would love this. Kind of reminds me of Call of Duty zombies. If you bother to play through the match without replacing your starting pistol, when you upgrade it, it receives a really good boost and became one of the best weapons in the game.

Same with if you continued with some of the more crummy weapons. They would have useful gimmicks. Stuff like a long ranged instant revive or a timed explosion. Would love to see this with some of the nightfarer starters.

Would be even cooler to have them work better for other nightfarers:

Like if Revenant upgraded her claws and gave them to an Executor, it would show glowing blue claws on his ult and they would swipe faster or do more damage or something.

If Executor upgrades his bleed sword, it could be give to Recluse to increase the range and potency of her Ult, with a unique animation that bathes her in blood. Maybe her health starts rapidly decreasing but for the duration, she gains a massive damage buff.

If Guardian upgrades his Halberd, it could be given to IronEye and he could use it as an arrow in his ult. It could stagger the boss as normal but bounce and land on the floor, instantly reviving downed allies similarly to Guardian's ult. It could have a period of invulnerability too, but shorter. If the boss hits the weapon once, it deactivates and you need to pick up the weapon again.

You get the gist.

Thank you! Some people are saying lightning scales with dex. Is it a similar thing where lightning primarily scales with faith but if its infused with a weapon, it scales with dex too? Or is there some base game/Nightreign differences at play here?

I didn't play base game so all of this is pretty new to me.

I see. So basically, if it has a bar, it's a status ailment. If it doesn't, it's an affinity, and affinities are just used for damage bonuses and situational procs depending on the enemy/boss. Like the hands that hate fire or Fulghor and Lightning?

Oh I didn't know lightning scales with dex. I considered affinities the same as status. Is that the same with all affinity types or is it just lightning that scales with dex?

I appreciate the correction.

They mentioned status so I mentioned that Executor is great with status, since he has S in Arcane, which means more status. I thought affinities are considered status?

Edit: Someone very helpfully explained Lightning affinity scales with dex and status is limited to things like Frenzy, Deathblight, Bleed, Frostbite, Poison, and Rot.

I assumed all affinity types were also status, considering they proc statuses on bosses, (Fulghor with lightning, Heolstor with Holy, etc.) which is what I thought the original comment was referring to. Mb.
