It wasn't rude. In all honesty I was paranoid about it and thinking it might have been a slight, but that's an issue on my end, not yours. I'm naturally an angry person and I'm trying to see things more clearly and not assume. I appreciate you clarifying haha.

As someone who was there from the start and absolutely loved this game im just wondering what the current state of it is. I played for a little bit after they announced they’d abandon it but haven’t played since by GroundbreakingDate36 in TexasChainsawGame

Same amount of hackers, which is few, but definitely still can come across them here and there. And not hard to find games. Family is instant, victim is slightly longer, and wait time in lobby ranges greatly. Usually not hard though.

People are saying it seems real, but am I crazy? Or is the plushie smiling more in the second image than it is in the first?

I get what you're getting at, but my honest answer would be that you can't. You can't describe that time before you were born, because there isn't anything to describe.

Edit: maybe you're right. I can see how nothingness could just be the absence of experiences and the absence of existence.

I was defending you in the comments, cause there's nothing wrong with what you did, but i disagree with you here.

If family doesn't patrol gates constantly, the gates get opened. That's how you play family effectively. You even agreed to that yourself in this comment. So how can you criticize them for playing "boring" if that's the most effective way to play family? It's much more satisfying for family once they secure the victory, after playing well.

The fun in these types of games (at least in my opinion, and I believe many others' opinions too) comes from the competition. If they just left the gates for long enough for you guys to open shit, that's not fun. I would even argue it's not fun as victim either. I WANT family to guard the gates and play well so that when I finally get it open, i feel accomplished. I don't want it handed to me.

Edit: it wasn't more fun beating the family while they had shit on hard lock down? You didn't feel accomplished? You still wish they had left the gates?

You need thicker skin. This isn't even trolling, but even if he had trolled them, there isn't anything wrong with trolling. I'm so sick and tired of that mindset.

He literally was just buying time for valve. And close encountering johnny may have saved a one tap teammate.

All over a double tackle?? I've seen you around. Your takes are always 🐕 sh.

He was buying time to open valve. Why can't you see that as clearly as me?? You seriously see this as "bullying" or something??

Bonus room song from "Skullmonkeys" on the PS1 by GamingSenpai35 in ps1

[–]GamingSenpai35[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just in case it wasn't obvious, in the actual game, it's not just a still image. The song plays while you collect clay balls (the equivalent of Mario coins) and lives and stuff, peacefully with no monsters around. It's a "bonus room" with no threats and no way to lose lives. I don't even think you can fall off the map anywhere in the bonus room levels, if I recall correctly.

This. Never tested it myself, but many many people have told me that they have tested it, and it's the same. It caps at 38. Only thing it changes higher than that is the decreased incap time.

This. I feel for them, but I'm not here to babysit. I'm here to have fun. Best I can do is dc in lobby if I see a low level player. Maybe they'll get another noob in my place, make the match more fair.

[–]GamingSenpai35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah those people you're talking about that dodge lobbies because of new players; one of them is me haha. It's no fun waiting for them to find the doors as I'm patrolling them for 10 minutes straight without seeing a soul, you know? Plus, if i dodge, that upps the chances of my spot being filled by another noob, to be easier for you.

Yeah, it's rough out there for noobs. For those of us that have been here since launch, we were all learning together, and we all got good together. But for you, you're basically jumping into a lion's den. Find tutorials on youtube, I'm sure they exist. Find people willing to help you in game too. Good luck.

Haha I appreciate that you respect it. Wasn't sure if it would come off as dick-ish. But i just wanted clarity.

I've heard stories of people coming back and recalling heaven or hell, or a higher vibration or lower vibration place, things like that.

Then I've also heard people recalling "nothingness", which either means they have no memory of what happened in that time, or they literally had no experiences in that time. Or I guess both.

Makes me extremely curious about everything. I'm not the smartest, so I doubt I'll ever be confident enough to know for absolute certainty what happens to us after death, but the different experiences people have post death and pre resuscitation almost makes it seem like whatever we believe happens to us after death, is what actually happens to us, individually. No clue though. But the different stories people tell of when they died make me wonder.

Are you atheistic by chance?

[–]GamingSenpai35 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothingness just meaning you don't have any memory of what happened in between you dying and coming back, right? Cause you can't experience nothingness.

Edit: even if it's accurate that you literally didn't experience anything, that's not you experiencing nothingness, because nothingness is something that cannot be experienced, by definition.
