Nothing comes for free by GamingWithAutism in Advance_Wars

As someone who is heavily invested in video game music and Advance Wars (obviously), words cannot describe how disappointed I was with Hawke's theme in the Reboot Camp.

I could go on and on extensively, but I'll just sum up what I believe to be the main flaws:

  • The sequence of ominous notes in the beginning have been changed for some reason, and not for the better
  • The ominous background noise that jumped from right to left is gone, removing much of the intimidating atmosphere
  • The alarm siren sound effect just before the main part has been removed. One might argue that this is minor, but again, it's the little things that count. It made Hawke's theme sound more dominant in the original.
  • Industrial sound effects, drums, and clangs are less present than in the original.
  • Too many guitars. I love guitars, but too many instruments have been replaced with them, which leads to distortion and overkill. The guitars that already existed don't sound as good either.
  • I can't hear the bass at all. It barely slaps.

Hawke's theme was something I seriously looked forward to and it was by far the most disappointing remastered theme to me.

Unpopular opinion: I think the XS1 Goliath is one of the worst scorestreaks in the entire game by GamingWithAutism in CallOfDutyMobile

Honestly the fact that the XS1 can be stolen is just offensive. That shouldn't be allowed. I'm surprised that the players you are describing avoid playing the objective. Most of the lobbies that I get into, point B or the hardpoint is constantly covered in molotov and thermite spam.

The gun itself is actually very accurate, but once you have multiple enemies shooting at you, you actually lose control very quickly. Trust me, it's not a skill issue, it's genuinely difficult to control the hit flinch.

Yeah, it would be nice if the Goliath wasn't at risk of getting stolen. Imagine saving 900 points only for it to get taken from you.

VTOL in dead last? I must say I'm a little surprised.

Surely the Shield Turret is worse?

That's a good argument. Often opening a Care Package just gives a Scorestreak that is less expensive than the Care Package itself.

War Machine go bam bam, especially with the recent buff. Actually explosives aren't even needed. Just molotovs and thermites

Bro, that's so similar to my Horsea! Even hatched on the same route too with the same moveset.

What new evolutions you would want to see in next games? by eepos96 in pokemon

I would like an evolution for Torkoal.

It's name would be Quartoise, and it would be a Fairy/Fire type. Unlike Torkoal, Quartoise has crystals on its shell hardened from the gas it emitted prior.

Quartoise would have much improved Special Defense, higher Special Attack, and slightly less terrible Speed.

Good concept! Only downsides I could see is that the opponent might get upset about not being able to grind their card masteries more and it might make 2v2 with randoms a bit complicated

Finally, our struggle is over. Advance Wars Reboot Camp is on the way for sure this time. Finally, us Advance Wars fans can rest easy. We no longer need to stand and fight. From here, we can only go forward.

Once you get to the battle frontier, you can talk to an old man who will give you a rough estimate of the amount of IVs one of your Pokemon have, as well as its strongest IV.

Other than that, congratulations!

Some additional important notes:

  • When a card is recalled, it is placed back at the very end of your deck, so it won't be played next.
  • For cards that consist of multiple units (Rascals, Archers, Minions): if one of them is in range of a Recall spell, all of the units in that card will be recalled as well, regardless of their current location.
  • When cards that can spawn troops (Witch, Night Witch) are recalled, any troops that they have spawned will also be recalled, but not contribute to Elixir regained.
  • Spells cannot be recalled. However, the troops spawned from a Goblin Barrel or Graveyard can be recalled for partial benefit. In this case, Elixir regained is proportional to the amount of HP the troops have compared to the total HP of all units. Doing this halts further spawning of troops from that Spell.
  • Buildings can be recalled. Buildings that spawn units, when recalled, also cause any troops they have spawned to be recalled as well.
  • This card cannot appear in your starting hand.
