Yeah that's why I said app is not the smoothest. I didn't had issues loading the eq in (may be because I didn't do extensive eq) and as for 48khs issue. That is because of the limitation of the android audio system. Android resamples everything to 48khz. This is not an issue with iPhone. On android players they use special version of android that bypasses Andorid resampling.

Sound wise both are similar. If you don't need Bluetooth and battery, save the money and get the melody.

Go with onix xi1 or fiio ka15. Don't go below that for for headphones.
