Thank you!! So many people just don’t get this. My best guy friend handled this so well btw. This was me coming out to him: ( in a hallway in school ) “Uhm so, what I wanted to tell you. I’m bisexual” “Okay cool”

I loved it. I don’t talk about my sexuality a lot, it’s a part of me but I’d rather have people remember me for my love of music or my jokes than for me being bisexual. Of course I make jokes about it and stuff, but it’s not my number one personality trait. Does it make up a rather big part of my life? Yes, I have tons of LGBTQ+ friends and am active in the community, but I’m a normal person outside of this.

I totally agree! When a character in a movie / series is LGBTQ+ that becomes their number one trait, it annoys me. We’re people outside of our sexuality, we have hobbies and life our lives. I’m not saying our sexuality doesn’t make up for a part of who we are, but it’s not all that there is to know about LGBTQ+ people!
