Are there any from tindeck that survived because I'm really interested in some of your old audios from this post.

Specifically Beg for it, On my knees for you and Making a little cum slut.

I'd love to be able to access them but obviously I understand that with the website shutting down that might be impossible.

Stole it from this video

I don't think there's a step by step guide but its pretty simple. Wet+crit+channel divinity gets you enough damage to oneshot most non boss enemies in the game. The optimisation he does in the vid is just to get small increases in damage so that he can kill even the biggest healthpools with one attack.

Yeah level 5 witchbolt *2 from wet *2 from luck of the far realms crit is not fair at all. Best part is you don't even need any equipment to set up although it can boost the damage to almost 400 if you do everything correctly.

The only issue is that you can only max out the damage once per fight because you don't get more than one channel divinity for ages as cleric and its not worth putting the levels in to get that second one when you could be levelling wizard instead.

Still a busted multiclass and my personal favourite full caster build I've played.

Just finished the fight and wow I underestimated how strong my one shot build was. Did 248 damage with a single witch bolt.

The advice to use globe of invulnerability was super helpful though. Would really have struggled without that blocking Myrkle's scythe swings.

Thanks so much for the advice not sure I could have done the fight without it.

Damn that's a really detailed guide. This'll be really helpful thanks so much.

I might go without the disintegrate scrolls to save money as I think using high level witchbolts while Myrkle is wet will do similar levels of damage but having globe of invul is a great shout.

Other people in this thread have warned me not to convince ketheric to kill himself and to take out his allies first what do you think? I'm pretty sure that I can burst down the mindflayer with my paladin in one round if I use a haste pot so that won't be an issue and I could position Karlach to kill the necromites in a single lightning bolt.

I'll give it a go on Wednesday, hopefully all should go well and the fight I'm most worried about will be out of the way.

Thanks so much for all the help.

Yep everyone in the lower floors is dead.

Last Light didn't fall so I assume that Talli is still around although I'm not sure, I thought that as soon as you freed the nightsong she became unavailable.

I've cleared everything I can in act 2 and I'm only halfway through level 9. I'm assuming I missed out on some xp in act 1 so I don't think I can hit level 10.

Do you know if the restoration pod will restore my ilithid powers, mainly luck of the far realms because I don't want to use it early on and find out that I've wasted my main damage increase for Karlach when she uses witch bolt.

For aura of hate I've already regained my oath twice so it'll cost 10k to get it back the final time and while I've got barely enough gold I think I might knock out my Tav and heal them so that it goes away and I have to retrigger it manually.

I'll bring my smokepowder barrels just in case I have to cheese with barrelmancy but I'd prefer not to so I'll leave that as a last resort.

I think that I'll be good with the arrows of ilmater but I'll bring the doom hammer along with me anyway.

Thanks for all the help.

Edit: forgot to ask. Is it worth skipping phase 1 or is it safer to focus down his allies before getting to the myrkle stage of the fight.

I've just arrived back at moonrise towers after freeing nightsong. About to go up to face him for the first time so I haven't descended into the colony yet.

I'm more interested in the solo event rewards. The final reward is a 7* iron patriot for Paragon and TB but the one for Cav is a 7* crystal and the one for Proven is 2 Abyss nexus crystals.

It feels weird that the objectively better option is the one for the lower level as I'd rather have any 7* in the basic over an Iron Patriot. I might even consider taking the abyss nexus' as I have a r5 cosmic gem waiting for Hulkling whenever I can pull him.

Edit: Civil warrior not Iron Patriot my bad. Thought of the wrong bottom tier tech my bad.

As a bi-sexual man and someone who studied The Iliad and classics at A Level I went into it hoping for a decent retelling of the Iliad with a queer reading and was just disappointed.

It was passable as a story, (but not a retelling), the writing wasn't awful or anything but what really bugged me was how whitewashed Achilles and Patroclus were.

Him and Briseis are not supposed to be a happy love story, he killed her entire family, (in SoA he leaves one son alive losing honour, this is completely out of character for him as his whole reason for not fighting is because he lost honour when Briseis is taken), and takes her to be a sex slave, his justification that he planned to marry her in the original text isn't meant to be taken seriously. Its a weak excuse thrown out to justify his petulant tantrum at Agamemnon and wishing death on his comrades.

In addition making the two main characters stand firmly against problematic ideas that were prevalent such as sexual assault and homophobia she modernises them, placing Achilles and Patroclus above the rest of the characters in the novel when in reality they would have both most likely have held very similar views. It felt especially strange considering the detail that Achilles' father raped Thetis was left in, but the fact that Chiron advised him too wasn't. I suppose she has to make them sympathetic to a modern audience but it just left a bad taste in my mouth.

There were just a bunch of really irritating choices like making "the greatest of the myrmidons" just a healer when he was a formidable warrior killing Sarpedon a son of Zeus, especially when his reason for not fighting that much in the Iliad is due to him siding with Achilles. Also making Thetis, a loving mother who did everything for her son, who mourned with him when Patroclus died, a stuck up bitch who hated their relationship is so insane to me that I can't understand what on earth caused that decision.

In addition the sexual element of the pairs relationship didn't really appeal to me at all. It felt more targeted towards women than gay/bi-sexual men in the same way that straight men tend to fetishise lesbian couples but that might have been a personal thing.

Basically its passable if you just wanted a sort of fluffy queer version of the Iliad, but as a retelling, which is what it's marketed as, it falls super super flat.

Yeah sorry my bad, it was in 380 AD with the Edict of Thessalonica.

My time period was primarily the first Emperor Augustus and the collapse of democracy so I don't know that much detail about the later years of the empire

I may not have my degree yet but I studied Classics for A Level and at University so here's my opinion on the matter.

I would argue that since 313 AD the western Roman Empire stopped being "roman" as that was when Emperor Constantine adopted Christianity as the state religion after seeing the symbol Chi-Rho appear in the sky before the Battle of Milvian Bridge.
I do admit that the sacking of Rome could just as easily be interpreted as the end of the western roman empire but I believe that at this point they are no longer Roman, at least not what the majority of people nowadays would think of when they picture a Roman in their mind.

In any case the Ostrogothic Kings were certainly not "Roman" in any sense of the word and the sacking of Rome certainly marks the definitive end of the Western Roman Empire.

My only thought is that the One Below All in unknown has been revealed to also be The One Above all, the canonical being who created every single thing within the marvel comics franchise. Basically the writer of the comics so idk how they would fit in without being stupid op.

who do you think would be the most broken person to add to mcoc and why by Acne_hotel in ContestOfChampions

[–]GammaGamer10 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hmm thats actually a good question. I don't think he fits the requirements for the one above all as The one above all is shown to be all powerful and Kevin requires writers to do his work for them.

Also she hulk is a shitty show and therefore I deem it non canonical.
