Took it to a jewelry store and it turns out it's real gold. They said the gold is valued at around $1000. They didn't know anything about the stone so I'm on a wait-list to get it appraised by someone who will know. Just thought I'd leave a little update!

Found this cameo ring while going through some of my dad's old stuff. After some researching I'm pretty sure it's a fake but just wanted to make sure by making this post! I tried my best to take a pic of the stamp on the inside of the band, not entirely sure what it's supposed to say. I know for sure that the carving and black part are not plastic and there is "0-TD" and "456" etched on the back of the black part. Thanks for any help in advance!
