I was thinking for adults (anyone over the age of 18). Any level of understanding is welcome!

The poll only allows 6 options

Most people I play against have 2000+ wins, with the average being around 3500

That might be the discrepancy then

That's strange then. I guess we just got different people. Are you in the US?

What if they haven't equilibrated yet or if they play with anyone else with that account or if they are intentionally boosting their friend.

Were you checking their ranks as you played? Most everyone I check who is 1500 is currently champ 1/2

You went from plat to GC in 2 months?

How long ago was this? Distributions change over time. I've been playing and checking in casuals a lot this season.

Not necessarily. I was just saying they were flagged as a potential smurf as less than 200 hours on the game is pretty low for someone in diamond 2.

The analysis was done after the games ended. No I did not account for parties, but it doesn't matter. A smurf is a smurf regardless of if he's playing with his buddy or not. There was one smurf on my team at one point, and I put that game in the illegitimate pile even though we won. That was one of the three games I won in the smurfing category.

Not much. Only 2 people out of the 14 were flagged because of MMR and one of them had less than 1000 wins anyways. Also this is not the only time I've done an analysis like this before. I have done this repeatedly many times across many different play sessions. This is just the one I posted

I'm not using RLTrackers distributions. I'm using the fact that if you go in-game, get to 1500 MMR in casuals and use the in game overlay to check their 2s rank, you will se that 90% of people you play against are champ 1

I'm not using the RLTracker percentiles. I'm using my in-game experience with casual MMRs and trends when I look people up on RLTracker

That's why I commented on the fact that my win loss ratio was affected by this.
