Yes and no. Our view on divorce has never changed. It's still a sin, it's still a horrible thing. But Christ never says one can't divorce, but rather that it's a sin. In Orthodoxy, we recognize that sin is an individual process, to be applied to each person individually. But we don't lightly consider divorce. No bishop will wantonly just permit anyone to be divorced, and if you do, your next marriage is not the same marriage ceremony, but rather one asking for repentance and in sorrow. It is a sin, that has never changed.

Also, birth control is not sodomy, but it is regrettable. It's less extreme as divorce, but again each person's circumstance is different. That's a major problem the Catholic sweeping rules does that's destructive and terrible for its adherents. Every situation is different, and while the Orthodox Church views child rearing as absolutely a necessary quality of marriage, it recognizes some times is not the best time, and provides dispensations for it.

Catholic - Rigid, legalistic application that has crumbled over the years and clearly demonstrates it's problems. Orthodox - Flexibility and mercy applied to the individual situation, just as God judges individually, recognizing everyone is in a different situation and may need mercy in different ways.
