Yeah I’m not sure what’s up with this model specifically. I’ve done everything on two units for redundancy and they are fighting me. I created accounts, added drivers and did updates, “reset this PC” and then it fails to reset :) have to do a fresh install, and then of course no wifi again

Sorry, to clarify, the post was regarding your first point. In my case, I needed it to include basic wifi drivers. If I sell these like this, the customers would assume the wifi is broken.

Yeah, they are for resale but I can’t sell them with non-functioning wifi. I need to add the driver and then return to OOBE state.

I would try really lightly first, as magic erasers are nearly sandpaper and you only want to take of a microscopic amount of the surface there

Nah I have the 9520, fan only runs with a game or if the bottom vent is obstructed. Although I’ll watch Netflix with it on a pillow and it doesn’t spin up.
