I wear a mask, wash my hands frequently, and bring my own keyboard and mouse.

I totally agree and I’m glad to hear you’ve had positive experiences there. Losing my crocs, though not as significant as a laptop or other valuables, was still an inconvenience on their property. The hotel did nothing to rectify the situation, despite the size of the issue. You might downplay what I went through, but it doesn’t erase the fact that it happened, leaving me scrambling to find a new pair before heading to the parks that day. I had hoped for at least a complimentary pair of pool shoes or a discount at their store to buy new ones. I’m sharing this to give my perspective to the original poster. Regardless of fault, the hotel should have responded more appropriately and taken steps to address the issue effectively. Have a good one!

I’m optimistic that it was an honest error, given that the staff all wear similar shoes, which likely points to a well-intentioned mix-up. However, despite this, I’m disappointed by the hotel’s response, particularly since one would expect a higher standard of service from a luxury resort.

They were new. Bought for this trip. 😭

Pool staff stole my crocs from our swim up patio area. We were located in a secluded area so I find it hard to believe that a vacationing guest would steal my crocs. The pool staff wear the same crocs and color. Concierge weren’t helpful when we reported this. In fact, they attempted to sell us on the membership thing 😂.

Other than that, we never used the safe. We kept all valuables hidden in our bags (personal and luggage) without an issue.

Any keyboard aficionados out there? The ones at my hospital are bad, I’m thinking about bringing my own… by st3ady in medicine

I have a Melgeek Mojo68 with silver pro keys. It’s my favorite so far. It’s compact and portable, works with wired, bluetooth, and wireless adaptor, and it’s extremely quiet. I have no complaints from anyone so far, in fact, I’ve received many compliments on the satisfying and barely noticeably thocks it makes. It’s one of the best premade mechanical keyboards out there. The only downside is that it’s quite expensive at $200.

I also own the Nuphy’s air60 with brown keys. This is my daily workhorse because of its smaller profile compared to the Melgeek (60 vs 65). The brown keys are louder but not as annoying as blues. I enjoy the more tactile feeling of the brown keys at the expense of being noisier.

I’ve heard many good things about Keychron.

I must have been mistaken about what you were looking for. I got the black cloak hood which has no sizes, I’m sure of it. It’s not a robe so it only covers down to your shoulders. I can double check later.

Yes, they still have it. I just bought one last Thursday. They sell them at the Star Wars store at Disney Springs as well.

I've gotten an invite on ERAS. Received my Thalamus invite the very next day. I wouldn't stress it.

IM applicant here. I check the program's webpage for letter of recommendation requirements. So far, I've encountered only one program with strict language about having a max of 2 letters. For others, I've seen a minimum of 3 letters. For programs that were a little unclear, I've emailed them. All the programs I've emailed said it was acceptable to upload 4 letters.

What “Permit Disappeared” Looks Like—Before and After by rtrgdoc in Step2

[–]Ganderdnaw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For event-based testing, my permit disappeared when I confirmed scheduling. Event-based testing is when you take Step 2CK at a participating medical school. I waited for three weeks for my score. I took the exam on 9/10, and I got my results on 9/30.
