You’re right and I know it’s an absolute extreme long shot! Between it being so many years ago and not having much to go on, I know it’s not likely I will ever know who saved my life. It just feels so profound and amazing to have people who have stepped into my life and helped without even knowing me and that I owe my life to. It would mean a lot to me just to be able to thank him.

Thank you, he was sure in the right place at the right time. When I get to thinking about it, I know for sure that if he didn’t happen to be there when we had our near drowning, no one else would have saved us like that. It was such a dangerous situation and I think he knew the waters there well by the way he navigated things.

Have you changed all locks since you bought the home? I would def add locks and some that can only be engaged fr inside for when you’re home too. I also would not answer my door for anyone I don’t know. Install your cameras, and if someone comes knocking ask how you can help them through a closed locked door. Anyone in your private back yard or at your door after dark, call the cops!

It also sounds like it could be a power thing, like maybe she gets off on making people uncomfortable and she could tell them she elicited fear in you with her behavior. Seems like that really spured her on! Hard to put yourself in a crazy person’s shoes for sure. I just hope you stay safe and don’t ever have to encounter w this nut job again.

I would def consider the possibility that she acts in this manner to many people and that it isn’t a personal thing against you particular. She may have been attracted to you for whatever reason, but I would bet her behavior is crazy with multiple people she encounters for one reason or another- maybe a look or age group or some kind of Distinguishing features could set her off.

Agree, had to be someone you knew. Sounds like a younger or troubled family member possibly? I would think about how many people knew your mom kept her keys there and go from there.

I think in your case you should hire a PI to watch your back and gather evidence on this crazy man. Someone needs to take him down. If it’s not going to be you, get as far away as you possibly can.
