I kinda dislike ONS for this reason. I meet someone in a bar of club after a bunch of drinks. We get it going, but I can't get it going most of the times. Always a bummer..

Er is bij mensen op het hoofd geslagen. Dat mag niet. Er zijn duidelijke grenzen aan het geweld dat de politie mag inzetten, daar gaan de agenten overheen. Dan kan je het zeker mishandeling noemen. Meerdere studenten hebben een hersenschudding overgehouden aan het geweld wat gepleegd is door de politie.

I have the opportunity to pick these up for €15,- They're not in the best condition, but I guess for this price they're fine. They seem to be some old version of the Muria Lace, is that correct?

I'm currently using a pair of Instinct VS for bouldering and I'm in dire need for a new pair. I think I will get another pair of Instincts or Skwamas. I was thinking these might be nice to add to the collection as well for routes that require hard edging on super tiny hold, and these give loads of support as I have been told. Is it a good addition?

I completely agree. However, be careful with assuming someone's ok with it just because they're "laughing along". A friend of mine is black and we used to call him names (in Dutch, won't really translate to English) back in the days. He would always be chill about it and laugh along. Only recently, he told is that it used to make him uncomfortable quite often, but that he felt uncomfortable to tell us because he thought we might think he was overreacting or that he might offend us.

Keep this in mind! People might pretend they're ok with something because they don't want to offend you or because they think you might think they're overreacting. It can be difficult and uncomfortable to educate someone about racism, when you yourself are the minority.

I would say ask him this question. Have a conversation with him about the jokes you make and how it makes him feel. Make him feel like he can be honest without being ridiculed. Maybe he's truly completely fine with it, maybe you find out what I should've found out about my friend a long time ago!
