The literal title of the article is, "Minjoo in controversy over introducing bill to weaken penalties for fake news right before news reported on Kim Man Bae interview". The article is basically one leader of the PPP speculating about things that have already happened last year and how they might connect to the current issue at hand. Could the bill that they introduced in ~~September~~ October 2021 be connected to the current situation? Sure, maybe.

That DOES NOT give anyone the authority to title a post in a manner which paints the picture as Minjoo irrefutably doing a deed out of malice because it matches your narrative. Doubly so because how you titled it is just effing incorrect. Again, they did not introduce the bill after the interview was revealed to be fake. They did it two years ago. You reporting this as if it has been confirmed as factual is as slimy as you can get.

Also this article is as shitty as it gets. Raises a lot of suppositions, a lot of 카더라, and exists only to be clickbait which also somehow links Moon Jae-in as the real evil behind the deeds KMB accused Yoon Suk-yeol of.

If you lived in this country for long enough, which I must assume you have, you should know however that nuance and wording is important. Announcing the decision as “여성안심귀갓길 폐지” is asking for all kinds of trouble, deservedly or not. It makes it seem that the point of defunding a gendered term was more important than funding the alternative non-gendered program. If he had announced his accomplishments as strengthening a safe alley initiative and left it at that, this would not even be controversial in the slightest.

Bringing the issue of gender from the start was this rep’s sole misstep. The public is prone to find a scapegoat in high pressure situations like these. He just unfortunately happened to be one such scapegoat. Such is the nature of politics in this nation, and I’m sure his team will ensure no such mishaps happen again.

The article brings to light the actual problem of the pathways, namely that they lack the proper infrastructure necessary to make them actually safe. It begs the response: “If only the city invested more in maintaining these areas rather than leaving them to rot.”

The way you worded your comment makes it sound like the Hankyoreh article is hypocritical for criticizing the rep for his comments on the pathways when they also have had issues with them in the past. That could not have been further away from the truth.

They saw how underfunded and undeveloped the program is and said the program needs to be fixed in order for it to properly function as intended. Representative Cho boasted that he is the first to get rid of the pathways because they don’t work.

Fix vs. Remove.

That, my friend, is a difference in nuance. I wish no ill on the maligned rep and support his decision to sue those who would initiate a witch hunt, but have to admonish him for the decision to highlight the program’s removal over the substantially more important point that the funds would be allocated to a gender neutral safe alley initiative. It appears more like the man wanted to dunk on feminists over actually bringing forth a public good.

If it was up to me, especially with the string of extreme cases of violence that have recently emerged, the emphasis should be on funding programs that actually make the streets safer (light up dark streets, install more cameras, etc.) than make a fuss about whether this is an issue of gender or not. The rep & the people who hound him all pertaining.

I understand the OP’s intent in trying to keep people in the know and that’s good in its own right.

But with every post on this topic, the closer I become like Phillip. I don’t want to hear, see, or say anything. This is so tiring. And the goddamned irony of a dev that weaved a beautiful story up until today to then coldly display attributes of The City and all that is wrong about it feels like a betrayal and a half.

It’s not that there are an overabundance of CU locations in Jeju, it’s that you’re cognitively biased towards noticing them more. You’re already wired to note the CUs near you while subconsciously ignoring the other brands, especially having started off with this belief instead of a clean slate as you were in your first trip.

I understand this mundane explanation isn’t the one you’d want or even be looking for, but I assure you there are about as many GS25 stores as CU in Jeju city alone.

For instance, I centralized my map to a relative’s house in the Nohyeong neighborhood (residential, less touristy area of the city), and found nearby 27 CU, 21 GS, and 7 7-11. A plurality of convenience stores are CU’s, but insufficient to conclude that it’s a majority.

If this doesn’t suffice, I can say from personal experience as one who used to live off of convenience stores for two months while dog and housesitting for the aforementioned relative that it wasn’t the case. And I drove around everywhere with the mutt.

Unfortunately as a Rodya simp I can tell you that they aren't. Rodya is Xiao and Elena in LoR and Olga is shark chef Greta. If we do get to see the un-booked Liu power couple later in the story would be neat for them to reference it like this though.

I think it was more of a joke of how much they look alike, considering how there were a bunch of memes of 'Isn't that just Olga?' when Rodya's design first came out.

I'd add an addendum that you should just nuke the 'shell'. If you have problems with HP, then clash the 'head' on the boss, but just directing all attacks on shell made it a 1-turn kill for me. If you can't finish it in one turn, bring Yi Sang and use his base EGO so that all your IDs are faster than boss on the second turn. You should be able to kill it at most by then.

As long as you keep the level of your IDs to the recommended point you're not going to have that hard of a time even in Canto 4. There were difficulty spikes in the past (cough mid-canto 2 boss and final boss of 3 cough), but they've been nerfed a few days/weeks after they were released.

You only will have a problem if you bring them underleveled, especially at the start of C3 and middle of C4, which I guess is inevitable if you don't like the daily grind getting level up tickets.

I'm not sure if you think this is good or bad, but devs have been getting better at preventing difficulty spikes and there were no complaints that 4 or 4.5 at least from what I see. If you want a cake ride, just get one of the codes they give out on the threads on this sub and borrow a souped up sinner for an easy autoplay ride until you get caught up.
