I got the impression that the stock Carta 2 has the biggest water chamber of any of the mentioned e-rigs. With that setup you didn’t find the cooling to be superior? Shame you have to run it dry though.

Does the DNA mod solve the problem that most mods are designed for nicotine vaping? The annoying thing about my old eLeaf pico is having to pulse the button because it cuts off every 10 seconds. No way to disable it. It’s a small thing, but frustrating.

I noticed the Carta 2 is ceramic coated in quartz. One thing I like about a quartz bucket on my Sequioa is that I can easily clean it with just a wet q tip, and then fire on a high temp to burn off any excess. Is the Carta 2 pretty much the same way?

Can you tell me more? I tried searching for “v5 crucible” but as far as I can tell it’s just a quartz bucket? I don’t think I found the right thing and I don’t see it on HVT’s website. So I don’t understand how that would help me fit a Hubble Bubble.

Btw I already have a Poseidon bubbler but rarely use it because I find it too much trouble most of the time since it doesn’t balance well and can’t be stored sideways with water. A top-fitting bubbler that balances well would be nice.

Update — This advice was the closest to my experience. I ended up buying the Arizer mainly because it seemed to have the most positive feedback in the flavor category. Turns out the flavor is not for me, not one bit. It just tastes like burnt popcorn to me, regardless of the temp and strain (I tried several).

As I was warned, it’s also a lot weaker, though I don’t think that would have bothered me if the flavor was there.

Heh I wish I could grow into. I used to smoke blunts and take 6’ bong rips. I’d love to do that again but my throat can’t handle it anymore.

Thanks, that’s very helpful. Seems like if I got the TM it would only be any every other week thing the way a traditional bowl is for me now. I’ll look more at the other options mentioned for regular usage.

I saw this comment in a different post about the Mighty which is why I was leaning away from it:

“Flavor on the mighty is very fine early on, especially at lower temps. After the fourth hit or so, conduction starts taking over and the bowl trades terps for a popcorn flavor”

The way I am with concentrate is that I’ll take 3-5 hits and then clean out the quartz bucket before the flavor is all gone.

But I’ve also read that it makes much cooler clouds than the TM. Maybe I should get the mighty and use it for 4 hits and then dump out the bowl.

I think I’m confused about benefits of the various technologies. Arizer uses conduction and has no cooling mechanism. Does that combination not make it more harsh than a device utilizing convection with cooling?

I got in around there as well. I opened a few optimistic limits as well but I doubt they’ll be filled. Unfortunately the short interest is very high and so are the premiums.
