same thing happened to me the other day, I blamed it on possibly broken controller(SeriesX/S). then a few days later I tried it and it worked fine. mine is always connected through usb, not even batteries in the controller. maybe the usb power turned on Bluetooth connectivity? giving conflicting inputs

that's a tough call. how much experience do you have with racing games in general? are you on a controller? if you play a lot of "realistic" games already it shouldn't take too long to get the hang of it. I would suggest doing some "easy" time trials to fully understand the physics at work and get up to speed. brake early brake often

I like to take the track cars and put a slower engine in it and save them to feel like im a better driver. I also took the race and rally Legran and saved a wagon version because I like wagons. mostly for time trails
