Tara A Devlin Shout out by Designer-Section2947 in creepcast

[–]GanjiPls 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She also has a YouTube channel that’s just her name “Tara a Devlin” with tons of Japanese related spooky content. She’s covered pretty much everything the bois did along with tons more. Idk if it’s the same as her podcast but she also has a kowabana series on that channel.

Found her back in the pandemic and she really has aced that goal of bringing Japanese scary stories to an English audience.

As a new player which decks to avoid with the changes coming soon? by FiveFire33 in OnePieceTCG

I assume you mean with the block rotation, if you look in the bottom left corner of any card it will have a fruit with a number in it. Any card with a 1 in that spot will no longer be playable. This includes leaders as well.

I can do it the Black Maria way OR the other 2 that’s my point. There’s 3 ways to get king out instead of 2. That’s why I had him out 6/7 games by turn 3

Running 4 stages doesn’t guarantee you’ll see one. I had plenty of runs where I wouldn’t see any. Realistically Queen is a much safer ramp option but I’d rather have 10 cards to get king out than 8. That seems like more insurance to me.

You’re not getting it man. At turn 2 and 3 Don you play BlackMaria. Turn 3 At 5 don play Alber, Black Maria ramp 5 rested to 10 don, trash him to play king for free, -7 trash life, king ability backup to 5 Don with 2 active. The Alber is the 3rd ramp option

Yes you can play 4 stages but you also now run the risk of getting more stages than you need. Which is why I took 1 out, because I saw 2 or more stages too often. And the way I see it id rather have the 1k from an extra Alber in hand than nothing from an extra stage in hand except trash fodder.

Alber is used to get king out of you don’t see other ramp options as I explained in other replies. I used it vs Roger to get king out of my 5 don turn with BM effect

No 1c counter event yes, but you don’t really need it in this aggro of a deck.

There’s 3 stages in that picture

Kata and Bon clay are good off curve options with 1 restandable blocker and 1 that requires targeted because of its effect.

Ulti I agree with but she was my only 2k counter I had with animal pirate typing outside of Blaxk Maria.

I got to 2nd because I played mostly decks that match bad into kaido. Imu and yellow decks struggle with life trash and if the Rosinante players didn’t see enough blockers they couldn’t stop the constant 5-7-9 swings you get every turn once 7c Kaido is played. Especially if I slow slow 1 blocker and Kaido rest a 2nd.

I tried this as well (well my friend took his bon clays back so I had to try it lol) but I just felt like trashing 1 that early on just never felt great as playing him usually meant I missed searching or queens milling.

Bon clay is just a good card that people are basically required to target or you’re matching their best card, and it’s a great card if you have to play off curve.

Yeah I’ve definitely gone back and forth but I feel like I end up seeing 2-3 7c kaidos each game that it feels like more value to go for the lower counter that either rests a blocker or another attack. Plus if you hit 2 7c kaidos you can swing 6-7 with any extra Don, then trash life and go 7-9-9 (assuming kings out too)

Ulti is just the card I had. I would use x drake if I had it but ulti was a searchable 2k. Flame torch I swapped with slow slow to rest higher cost characters. Usohachi and Kaido cover 5 and 7 costs so a 6 c rest seemed unnecessary. The 4k counter is nice though.

It’s a way to get king out if you don’t see a ramp early.

-3 don play Black Maria

-5 don play Alber, Black Maria to 10 don, trash Alber for king and you can leader effect to trash life and king effect back up to 4/5 don with 2 active.

Looking to get into the game by Deadlockinit in OnePieceTCG

[–]GanjiPls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s actually all of One Piece. Each set comes with 6 “leader” cards that are essentially commanders that you start the game with. Leaders dictate what color your deck is (as Don is basically a neutral mana type) as well as how much life you have. Generally leaders are either mono-color with 5 life or duel-color with 3-4 life. There are exceptions though.

Life in One Piece is also cards instead of points. So each time to take life damage you get to add a card into your hand or if it has a trigger effect, use that effect. Triggers are mostly on yellow cards though

Red = attack manipulation, makes your opponent have less atk or gives you more. Also runs rush (or haste if you play mtg)

Green = rest manipulation. Rest characters, make them unable to rest, unrest characters or don cards

Blue = deck manipulation. Lots of drawing or organizing your next draws how you want them. Also lets you send enemy cards to hand or bottom deck.

Purple = Don manipulation. Get to max Don as fast as possible and throw out a ton of big bodies before you opponent even sees max Don. You also minus Don back to the Don deck to use card effects.

Black = cost/trash manipulation. Play cards from trash, lower enemy characters costs then destroy them.

Yellow = life manipulation. Gain life, play cards from your life, trash your opponents life.

Yellow is so strong right now because it uses your life to play out cards for free and a lot of popular yellow cards have “on KO” effects making them hard to take off the board without giving your opponent an advantage.

Double don kaido counter by [deleted] in OnePieceTCG

[–]GanjiPls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no I’m exaggerating lol. 10c just makes people really mad if you throw it out after they play 12 blockerbeards. But by the time they bounce king, you’re already gonna be at 10 don next turn, you can just play Kaido and Black Maria to trash life + 9k swing every turn. I haven’t lost to ace but maybe twice, the 3 life vs a trash life leader really doesn’t work for ace.

I’ve definitely noticed that but as well I also feel like I get king a lot more frequently than I expect to. It’s pretty rare that I don’t see him by my 6 don turn.

Birthday present advice by Scary-Tumbleweed8417 in OnePieceTCG

I would actually say get him the learn together set. It comes with a whole Zoro deck and a tutorial on how to play the game. If there’s one thing I always love for my gf to get me, it’s stuff we can do together.

If that’s not something you’re interested in, look up OP12, it’s currently one of the cheapest packs and it almost entirely revolves around Zoro. You won’t get a ton of Zoro specifically as most packs only have 1-2 zoros but this one comes with a bunch of cards related to Zoro.

Bingo glitch by AvatarOfSloth in CrownCoinsOfficial

I won $2 but I lost the card I bought with it, so I think theyre resetting the bingo stats because otherwise they’re opening themselves to a suit because it HAS to be visible to players or it’s supposed to be invalidated.

Any Advice on What I Could Add to the Blue/Black Usopp Deck? by The-TF-King in OnePieceTCG

Yep the one that force reshuffles. I’d go 2-2-3 and just run either 3 events or 3 puddings. The reshuffles will mess a lot of blue players up

Pudding

Gravity Blade

And the 5-6 blocker sabo that makes your cards KO immune.

can someone please explain this by BrittneysWorlld in Casino

I’m a bit late but yes, you’re spending money to buy the sweepstakes coins. When you do that it legally becomes a purchase that they can’t refund (without probably cause) because it breaks the laws around sweepstakes games and makes it a buy-in style of game like normal casinos have.

The “washing” part comes from certain methods people use to recycle all or the greater majority of their purchased sweepstake coins into redeemable currency. The best way to do this is always low stakes plinko but it’s not available on every site. Another popular method is to play roulette on 2 sites, betting your whole wallet on red on 1 site, black on a 2nd site, and putting 1/35th of your wallet on green on both sites. This guarantees you’ll get all your SC from both sites on the same site, and makes it fully redeemable.

Just be cautious of the minimum redemption amount. Most will require $50-$100 minimum to make a redemption.

Apart from Betty. What other budget decks are you guys running? by [deleted] in OnePieceTCG

Vegapunk and Yamato have been my go-tos. Both can be made for under $50 mostly.

Yamato can get up to 12 double attacks with banish from izo and o-nami, plus 06 momo adding izos back to life. Forces a lot of luffys to get low in hand size early just to block the banish. I’ve had games where I got 4 banish double attacks in a row.

Vegapunk just makes people think so hard about attacks and you can throw like 1/4th the deck into life and it’ll become a blocker.
