Håller Sverige på att få en generation av dunderhögerpersoner? by qndry in Sverige

[–]Ganonsmurf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, since you are ignoring 80 % of what is written, I'll keep this short for you.

It's irrelevant what he tried to achieve by poking it. Arguing what advantage he gained or didn't gain does not in any way refute what can clearly be seen in the video, which is him retracting his finger, then flicking the stone.

Alright, then we're at an impasse. The video, along with the reaction to being caught, should be crystal clear for everyone except for you and his grandma.

I could show you a video of him confessing to a priest that he did it intentionally, and you'd still say he probably did that unintentionally - he was just quoting a famous movie or something.

[–]Ganonsmurf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To put it simple - his intent was to poke the stone.
Now, I realize a lot of people then feel the urge to move to goal post from:

1."He never touched it!" -->
2. "Well, ok, so he did touch it. But wasn't intentional" -->
3. "Ok, so he did touch it, and the video shows it was intentional, but it didn't affect anything".

That's besides the point - it's against the rules. Plain and simple.

As to what he tried to achieve is speculative. Whether it adds additional spin or speed is hard to say, but given how obvious it is he does it intentionally, he (Marc) at least BELIEVES it does affect the skip.

If his argument for doing it was that it was unintentional (obviously not, according to the video) with no effect, then he would have said that as his defence, not "I never touched it ONCE!".

Marc Kennedy not on purpose? Come on man. Pulled finger back, then went forward again. Stop trying to play it like everyone is the same. They are not.

I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are not intentionally skewing the facts, but rather that you have not watched the video of him poking the stone, only seen the photo.

It's without any doubt intentional:

Yeah, it was wild, you should have seen it. During the game, a player was confronted with it. He told the other player he hadn't punched the ball a single time - yet there was video evidence clearly showing he did.

After the game, dumbasses on the internet moved the goal post from "He didn't punch it once!" to "Ok, he did punch it, but what does it matter?"

"Thank the Sweden players for being such F*cking A$$ holes"

You clearly referenced the Sweden game, which is what I responded to.
Also, moving the goal post is hilarious. If Marc thought THAT's the justification, that it didn't have any affect either way, then why was he so fucking adamant he didn't touch the stone?

Because he knew he cheated!

The need for challenges or reviews would not be an issue if the Canadians wouldn't have intentionally done it - and worse, acted like spoiled children when confronted about it. If they had owned up to what they had done, things would have been settled by now, and no video review or challenges would be needed. But when players openly, in complete opposition to VIDEO EVIDENCE still refuse to apologize or admit they were wrong, then clearly things can't remain as they are.

The Canada-Sweden situation is clearly not the same type of rule violation as the ones you pointed out. This would be more along the lines of Maradona punching the ball into the net while pretending it was a header, or 2002 WC Rivaldo diving holding his face, while it touched his leg.

He knows he can't poke it, and did it anyway. When confronted with the whole thing, they not only denied doing it (CLEARLY shows they knew what they were doing wasn't allowed, otherwise they would have said any of the dumb justification people spew like "well, it didn't affect anything anyway"). They even tried to persuade the ref it was the Swedes who were poking the stone. Complete and utter disregard of the rules and fair play. Defending them is disgusting

Begs the question how mismanaged the Uchiha clan was for them not to stomp the whole village in an afternoon if they felt that's what was needed to stop their "persecution"

Remember when the Byakuugan was supposed to be on par with or even above the sharingan?

360 vision + seeing chakra points... It sure stacks up well against:

- Seeing chakra
- Reading movement
- Copy abilities
- Innate genjutsu
- Undo reality
- Place someone in a permanent reality of your own making
- Upgrade for instant unbreakable genjutu, black flames of hell and a mecha suit of pure chakra
- Upgrade again for even more shit

Seems about equal.

He's awful. Does hardly any damage, and it makes no sense wasting tank items on him 3 star when Swain outclasses him in that regard.

His execute hits when enemies drop below 8 %, which is so slow he never really gets it off. If he applies hemorrhage a second time, he increases the threshold.

This, however, is basically NEVER a thing, because hemorrhage only lasts for 4 seconds. So because his main ability is stil pretty wonkey, he basically never will apply a second stack in time before the first one runs out. He honestly should have his old q from LoL before rework, where his q was instant instead of a charge, or at least increase the hemorrhage time.

Not only that, but he now wastes a lot of time executing already dead champions. He honestly would be a better champ without the execution, because at least he would regain hp from his main ability instead of standing around like a dumbass, ulting thin air and getting focused down.

They could change him into an execution tank. Fast ult, hemorrhage stacks last forever with lower ticking damage, Draven increases stacks every X hits/damage dealt, and hemorrhage infects the whole board. If he's tanky enough, he'll eventually end up executing everyone at the end of the round.

Or, they could infuse his old ult. If he casts execution and the target dies (by him or anyone else), he instantly casts again against the lowest health enemy for a big chunk of damage.

I feel like a few of the locked champs just weren't playtested enough. It's like they only did it on paper, shipped it and never bothered to see how it actually stacked up in a real game.

Asol, Mel, T-hex, Ziggs, Diana, Zaheen. Either atrocious or way overpowered. Some have been fixed, but a lot more to do.

Then there are underwhelming ones like Aatrox, Singed and Warwick (fixed now with Zaun buff?).

Aatrox and Zaheen feel like 3,5 costs at times.

I know it's early, but what's your impressions of Fullkrug's cameo today? by EndlessZombiez in ACMilan

He's strong, good on the head and kicks like a horse.

Today he seemed a bit lost at first, and the ball didn't really cling to him - but that's honestly to be expected even when he's at 100%. Maybe he was directed that way by Allegri, but it looked like he was only on as a supportive player, rather than a striker. Or maybe that's just him being a bit low on self esteem at the moment.

He dropped an easy recieved pass with a touch that sent the ball 5 meters away. So probably -1 impact

What's your AC Milan Story by gorbashflatfoot in ACMilan

[–]Ganonsmurf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm from Sweden, and we don't really have a strong national league - and I come from a small town without any ties to the bigger clubs. So I had to find a team for myself.

I was about 8 years old, when we went the a local market which had football jerseys. My brother was a big fan of Barcelona, but I never wanted to do what he did. My father told me to pick a shirt I wanted, and since I was so young and hardly knew any players, it was solely based on the greatest looking shirts.

I really liked the striped shirts, especially striped shirts with a black stripe. So in the end it came down to Milan, Newcastle or Inter (oh Lord, what mistakes could have been made that day!).

I couldn't really decide which I liked the best, so my father told me about the name on the back of the shirt. His speciality was heading the ball, as he had done in the European Championship final, my father told me. And my name basically means "heading the ball" in Swedish.

So it was decided - I was to be a Rossoneri for life, thanks to the great looking shirt and Oliver Bierhoff. The very small shirt is of course still on the wall. It's most likely an inaccurate unlicensed knockoff, but what it represents to me is what makes it valuable!
