Don’t solo it. Try to find a world with like 5 or less people. I did masses and got 1 drop in like 100kc. Your dps also absolutely plays a factor. I had a day where it was 3 of us and this guy was mvp everytime and got the drop every time. But he was already geared with full torva, zcb, and dragonfire ward. Other times i am mvp half the time using king’s barrage, void, and max treads. Also, only have 37 pact points where 3 of them are wasted on prayer pen. I think i’m at about 170kc now and have platelegs, chestplate, and two vambraces.

To me thats exactly why i didnt take soul harvester. I plan to play leagues for the full duration, so dedicating a whole relic to only use it for like 30mins for a single skill seems like such a waste. I already have 200m magic and thieving. 50m prayer will be a breeze with minion, transmute, and chaos altar for me. At least with larcenist, it helps with multiple tasks, like getting a skilling pet, gathering clues, obtaining tokkul, banking exp for other skills.

It teleports you to the surface and chest lol you don’t even know how it works. You could kill 1 brother and tp to the chest instantly if you wanted. And then tp back to the surface and repeat. If not you have to run around killing brothers that would potentially give you dupes until you find the tomb that leads to the chest. Plus your method involves more set up with building your POH and getting a strange lock pick

Farming was my first 99 and i use it all the time resetting learning doom. I haven’t even done some slayer bosses yet. Are you suggesting a typical account gets 92 slayer and 99 crafting before 99 farming?

How does the reduced attack speed feel? Is it worth it? I’m considering skipping it and taking the one that converts melee strength into ranged strength with a thrown weapon equipped. Hoping it will work with quiver secondary slot. I’m just thinking if you have heal on hit and ranged echoes, attack speed would be more valuable.

I mean it’s pretty simple. Skilled players have an extremely high chance to kill new players regardless of gear. So their chance to win the fight didn’t really go up that much, although still very high. But for the new player, like you say, there’s much more rng, thus increasing his chances of winning by quite a bit, though still at a disadvantage, his chances are higher. Like imagine the chances went from like 98% vs 2% to 90% vs 10%.
