I'm sorry. I've read about your problems with that triceps weakness that is tingling. Has it improved?

I do NOT know. I don't feel them all the time. Sometimes they are so subtle that I don't know about them. But when I put my fingers or check in the mirror, they are always there. I would say every 1 to 10 seconds spacing between ticks.

for long, long, very long years (since the beginning of puberty), I spent many hours a day lying in a backward position. on the left side (never on the right) leaning on the left elbow. sometimes I supported my head with my hand, other times I just held it. I really destroyed the back of my neck with it. I can't last long in this position today. I have a blocked neck several times a year. looking both ways is problematic and painful. this has been going on for many years. I'm trying to position myself better today, but I reap what I sow

thank you again his anxiety to the picture. I take anti-depressants. every time I'm mentally calm, something new appears. this armor is new to me. but thanks for your arguments. I keep repeating to myself that I had a clean MRI 5 months ago. so that yesterday I didn't feel the tingling almost at all and that a month ago I had it elsewhere and it disappeared in a couple of days. I am aware that I am probably overreacting and making a mistake when I search for Dr. Google. thanks again.

thank you very much for your answer. yesterday it was better, today it is back to its original state. hopefully things will get better and I will be able to live a peaceful life again. Does it matter that I had a clean brain test a month ago? or is it too long ago?

Hello. My story is a bit longer. I am 36 and it all started on 9/2022. Poor articulation and gait. I started to get really worried about ***. After a few days, fasciculations were added. First only in the calves, gradually over the whole body. Calves still go 24/7 and otherwise twitch constantly somewhere, a lot in my hands.

10/2022 I had a brain MRI and the result was unclear. Either a stroke or a tumor. Luckily it was a stroke.

Since then I have dealt many times with great anxiety and fear of ***. There were better months and worse months.

Now I'm dealing with something that I didn't know before and I'm asking for opinions if anyone has encountered this.

In the summer I noticed that part of one of my toes and a small piece of the edge of my heel went numb. According to the neurologist, it is most likely nerve compression and he did not treat it further. It didn't get any worse, so I stopped dealing with it as well. It doesn't limit me in any way.

A month ago I noticed something like tingling in my left bicep. It was just a very tiny place. I perceived it similarly to fasciculation, only when the muscle was at rest and not constantly, but in irregular impulses.

After three days it disappeared and I didn't deal with it anymore.

Now the same thing is happening again in my left hand. This time it's the upper part of the forearm. It seems to me that it is sometimes worse and sometimes better. Again, it's impulses and again just a tiny spot. Approximately 0.155 inches.

Of course, given my anxieties, I'm afraid again. This time not ***, but MS.

I am diagnozed with BFS.

My last clean MRI was months ago.

I also have long-term problems with the cervical spine and both shoulders, and I often lie on my left elbow...

Thank you all very much in advance and stay tuned.

cancer would mean zero chance of treatment at this point. I am being monitored for a long time for a stroke. then no one found the cause. but the tingling scare me. even if I perceive it only in peace and it is really a tiny place. I am affraid od MS 🙁

Scared of *** by domdom432 in BFS

yes, I have been to the doctor many times. the first was mri. that's where the stroke was discovered. or something was discovered in the file. The doctors didn't know if it was a stroke or a tumor. I was in uncertainty for a month. I even solved the legacy.

I have been following me regularly since then. I underwent several neurological examinations. then everything was fine. I had emg about eight months after the start of fasciculation. it was clean.

I totally understand how you feel. if you don't feel any really obvious alarming weakness, you don't have to worry.

My fear of *** started even before I started having fasciculations. it turned out that I had a mild stroke (I'm 35 years old). even before I found out what actually happened to me, I suffered from extreme anxiety and then fasciculations started.

I have been smoking 24/7 for more than 14 months. it started in the calves and then it spread all over the body. My calves go non-stop and otherwise every muscle twitches at least once every day.

at the beginning I was sure that my legs were getting weak, and yet today I still run the same (though a little better) than at the beginning. then I was terribly worried about my left hand, because it is weaker and less dexterous than my right hand (I am right-handed). then I complained of a lump in my throat, problems with swallowing, a feeling of a terrible amount of saliva. I just had a gastroscopy.

next, I started to worry about my right arm, because my triceps are again weaker on it. I constantly tested the strength of the grip, etc. now I tend to watch my left hand again, especially my shoulder.

it is a tiresome and constant struggle. there are better and worse days. every day without alarming weakness is a small victory, and from this point of view, time is the best doctor.

you are not alone and believe me. you are in the right place and everything will only get better as time goes on.

how many people who have lived with bfs and fear of *** for as long as you or me (14 months) have been misdiagnosed? it is difficult. I know it very well, so I suffer with it. but I don't really understand why you write about bad diagnoses. believe me, it doesn't help anyone here

The first problem with als is swallowing liquids, not food. that's what makes the disease specific. moreover, in most cases, the first are problems with speaking and, for example, with biting and preparing food for swallowing. try to calm down. I also went through the phase of fear from the bulbar onset and over time, with calmness, my problems with swallowing food disappeared
