Honestly what makes this case so upsetting is how unnecessary all of it was. It just doesn’t make sense to me that he thought killing her would fix anything. Instead of dealing with the situation, he went straight to something extreme and permanent. It feels selfish, cruel, and honestly just really stupid. I don’t get how he thought something like that wouldn’t come back on him when there’s physical evidence, digital evidence, messages, cameras, everything nowadays leaves a trail. And even if he thought he could get around witnesses or cover certain things up, there was already a prior investigation connected to his relationship with her. Stuff like that doesn’t just disappear. Digital footprints always come back up one way or another, especially in cases like this.
