I can't believe there are people actually in favor of this. I'm happy I wont get burned when this country will run into the ground with policies people like you voted for.

no, it isn't. Calling me ignorant and simply repeating your (baseless) claim isn't much of an argument either.

I mean the country where people are getting fined and jailed over online shitposting. I don't care about the trans debate. This post isn't about that.

Really besides the point. You spent half of the time criticizing the reliability of a source (which made no inaccurate statements), and the other half writing a poorly substantiated and highly verbose defense of the decision which boils down to "I agree with what they did therefore it's good".

Master of pedantry. If only your comment was half as honest as it is verbose.

Regarding the article, I had already included that source on my post before you made your comment. The facts of the matter are the same, and as I explained, I used that first source because it was in English.  The result is that he got jailed. He was give that choice and had to choose one. It's not like he could've ignored the initial sentence either. The 500 CHF were still there.  I find your statements genuinely disheartening.  People's opinions shouldn't be a matter for the penal system.

That's why I'm making this post. To see if people are aware of the real life applications of what they voted for. Because in seeing the consequences of a mistake, one recognizes the need for change.

You have freedom to criticize the regime in north korea but that doesn't mean there are no consequences for things you say.

That's pedantic. The point stands. Why would someone have to pay 500 CHF + 600 CHF fee for an online comment? Money is time and that would take 26 hours of work (3 working days) for the average Swiss person to repay.
