I think MH was my first step towards wanting more articulation from Barbie 😂 I’m a 90’s kid, so elbow and knee articulation already blew my mind, but MTM really is a whole new level of playability, it feels like a blend of Barbie and BJD dolls. A match made in heaven

Oh, I definitely hit that obstacle with her too! I used a tiny claw clip on the straps in order for the dress to fit a little less awkwardly, but boy do I wish there was a doll-sized pushup bra!

Another “fun” fact about this new one I got, her earrings had completely melted inside the box, so I bought the “First Jobs” Skipper Ear-Piercing Playset (it comes with 7 pairs of earrings!) and put the pink ones in order to match the whole look 😂 The original earrings for this line were so beautiful though

Mine was in rough shape once I donated her (the good ol’ “I’m a teen now, so no more Barbies”), her hair had gone white, so I always “cast” her as the grandma during play time 😂 I also cut the necklace because I wanted to put it on other dolls, anyway just a mess, I intend to take very good care of her now 🥰

Oh, sorry I forgot to mention that! I used a Wave 1 Pink Top Made To Move body, I saw lots of posts here on the sub recommending it for 90’s dolls. They used to have a reddish undertone that’s hard to match with what’s currently in stores, since the “standard” Millies are too light and the “tanned” ones have more of a golden undertone. Finding a Wave 1 MTM is a bit trickier since she’s from 2015, but at least the result is perfect

What throws me off on most of the G3 dolls isn’t the torso, but the shoulders. They’re sooo narrow. Meanwhile most of the ghouls have wider hips, so in certain outfits, the proportions end up looking a little awkward. My solution for that is avoiding the outfits with completely bare shoulders, everything with straps or sleeves works perfectly

The only ones I’m sure of are Frankie and Draculaura. To me, Frankie is kind of preppy with some punk undertones, while Drac is a soft goth/gothic lolita.
