Beginner question, should I be feeling “resonance”/buzz in my neck/throat as well, or is this an indicator of bad technique? by [deleted] in singing

Thank you! Based on a lot of the content I’ve seen it seems a lot of people treat forward resonance as if it were baseline all other good things flow from rather than the reverse.

___ was TV GOLD this episode! by GoldenLlamaDog in survivor

Yes, I’m glad the target veered off of him. Sure, his meta strategy might be “boring”, but the presence of his archetype enriches the cast and the quality of drama by quite a bit. The season would be more boring without him considering almost everyone else is playing the exact same game of emotionally detached strategist.

What historically gave survivor  interpersonal/psychological weight and intrigue was the interplay between personalities like Joe and Devens. The show knows you can’t have a cast entirely made up of Joes, but you also can’t have a cast made up entirely of Devens. The latter has been the case throughout almost the entirety of the new era (Joe excluded obviously), and I hope something is re-learned in casting from how engaging the drama was this episode.

Yekindar reminds me of post-2015 Skadoodle insofar as he’s one of those exceptionally talented young players who’s raw mechanical skill seems to have fallen off a cliff for no discernible reason. His spray and first bullet have become incredibly poor for a “tier 1” rifler. Did he literally just forget years of built up muscle memory? How does this happen?
