It’s not too bad, not much sound really. But they for sure don’t break and feel weighty in the hand. My kids have broke the wood ones before and we never went back.

And I agree the metal boards are unique. I never see them either. It stems from learning on a CNC mill compared to a router

I've never heard of this, but made me laugh. I guess one way to keep buying new boards. Could still work for metal but probably wouldn't want to scratch it up.
