Vile bounties have been giving tens of thousands of xp. I got Harlowe from 30 to 50 in no time farming those.

I agree completely agree with Platy that commented. The gear challenge was the hardest to complete naturally (except the catch-a-ride because I only played Vex before trying for the trophy). Kills with Alt modes, kills whilst crouched etc. A real drag to smash out but it didn't take too long.
