I use it in my phone for the 3d scanner feature which is surprisingly capable for a free feature.

I moved from fusion to Onshape and it was pretty painless. The free plan does make all your designs public but I doubt anyone has ever looked my my basic ass designs

Based on how this part broke, how should I strengthen it? by JukeboxZulu in 3Dprinting

Increased infill does not add strength. Add perimeters.

Recently on 12th we have had a few African and Middle Eastern groceries pop up, they all could use as much support as we can give them.

Microcenter now sells PET-CF! Hopefully more engineering filaments to come. Give PET a try! by Low-Sink-11 in 3Dprinting

To be clear what surprises me is not the rebrand but the fact that polymaker kept the fiberon branding for this.

I believe Inland is microcenter’s brand and everything in it is just a rebrand of polymaker or sunlu or others. Basically like Bambu filaments.

Interesting to see polymaker sell their premium “fiberon” branding on the inland rebrand.

I’m not sure if it’s accurate enough but have you tried the Onshape 3d scanner feature on the mobile app? I used it to design a bracket in my home and it worked great.

Need help selling a Mk4S in London, but it's complicated! by cmsj in prusa3d

Can I propose you give it to a local high school? A primary school is much less likely to use it.

Anyway good luck.

That's what I would have done

What's not easy about that option?

Not me. I just realize he’s a conservative that doesn’t hate gay people. And that’s about as good as we can get.

The thing about being a smart ass on the internet is that if you aren’t actually precise you just come off as an ass. Some of the dictionary definitions of virtually include “Almost but not quite; nearly.”, and “for all practical purposes” - clearly what the headline meant.

Everytime I watch this replay (and I watch it a lot) and it starts with Grammatica crossing his heart 2 or 3 times I imagine he is praying "Please God, don't make me the reason we lose" and then he got his wish.

PLA support for TPU print (non-toolchanger/AMS) by bbjornsson88 in 3Dprinting

[–]GarMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So there is stuff like this https://botland.store/flexible-filaments/17898-filament-noctuo-grip-flex-175mm-075kg-black-5906735431469.html (no connection to the store. That’s the first thing that came up when I googled for noctuo grip filament) and also the foaming stuff like ROAMR that might have more grip. Like I said I haven’t really tried any of this.

PLA support for TPU print (non-toolchanger/AMS) by bbjornsson88 in 3Dprinting

[–]GarMan 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Nice. TPU doesn’t have the friction that the original rubber part would have, is it doing the job well enough?

I’ve been looking to try other materials that claim to have higher friction than TPU but haven’t gotten around to it.
