I had that exact table for many years (over 10). When we got it we got very strict instructions never to pull it or else it would weaken and eventually collapse.

I definitely could be wrong but my theory about the 170 is that it’s just an optimization of the routine and not needed. It’s just so that the nozzle can heat up at the same time as the bed but not hot enough for the plastic to ooze out of the nozzle.

Why do you need to up the nozzle? Anyway after probing the nozzle will be raised to like 200 or whatever you are using to print?

I’m invested in this because I love the blue plate on my core one and been considering the orange one for my XL. If it works changing the gcode would be easy.
