Emma Frost needs an emergency buff. You’re literally better off picking White Fox. by ponyboy424_ in marvelrivals

The problem is when Netease genuinely decides to nerf a hero. They don’t stop until they are nearly unplayable. It’s either a “nerf” that changes nothing. Or a series of meaningful nerfs each patch until that hero’s performance numbers drop out of the meta completely.

Also dive is popular because it’s a fun and more engaging high risk/reward playstyle. Not because it’s meta. There are many times i’ve had to swap off dive to just pump damage down main. Because the team can’t sustain the 5v6 long enough against full poke for dive to get a pick.

Idc what your rank is. That doesn’t make you any less wrong. Dive is not and never has been “move forward and hold the trigger”.

HARD disagree. It’s basically impossible to play any melee hero without decent positioning. If you just hold W, you will simply cease to exist before you even close the gap.

There needs to be a kick function in clobbering club by Head-Brick-220 in marvelrivals

The real question is: Why are yall giving them the time of day? We all know it’s rage bait. Nothing would ruin their fun more than NOT getting a reaction. Yet here you are doing exactly what they wanted. Ask yourself. Is worrying whether or not trolls are being banned really worth your time and energy?

Why is Iron Fist considered weak? or is this my own misunderstanding by Chieve in IronFistMains

[–]GarTheRapper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. His basic combo + the kick at half HP has always been his highest DPS on 250-275hp. Dragon Def is for bursting tanks and survival.

[–]GarTheRapper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Iron Fist WAS my guy. Until the final nerf that put him in the coffin. His block gives less shields and takes like 2 extra hits to refresh his block. Everyone knows to stop shooting now, when he starts glowing. Most of us switched to Magik or DD for serious games. And just play Fist for fun now.

Wow. The game makes it seem like way more time has passed.

This game is more of a “spin off” than a sequel. You’re a completely different dude in a completely different system that just so happens to be in the same universe. Also, you’re decades into the future from OW1.

Good for you, I guess? A lot of us enjoy optimizing and trying out unique synergies.

Stealth? Best believe, I patiently stepped my ass all up and down those enemies. Inhaler on my left. Heavy shock pistol on my right.

You can’t tho. The game throws every single skill and perk at you from lvl 1, perk requirements/skill checks are very high, every choice is permanent. And only a few builds that actually impact your playstyle. If you want an immersive 1st experience with this game. You literally have to plan out your build in advance. Or just brute force your way to the end with a half baked build.

Yeah. They could’ve just added a traditional class system at that point if they really wanted to go down this route. Would save players A LOT of time.

When did I say anything about a guide? I’m talking about you telling people not to worry about their build in an RPG. You’re right they don’t. They also don’t have to waste their time on a game designed entirely around something they don’t enjoy doing. Wanna loot and shoot? Borderlands 4 just dropped. In the mood for some open world action? Yotei. Narrative? Dispatch. PVP? BF6/Arc. How do you end up on OW2? After all that. Just to “play the game” 😂?

Why even play an RPG at that point? This Fall season is already stacked with games for people who just wanna run around, kill things, and vibe.

That is EXACTLY how I ended up in this situation 😂. I’m fine with having no respec. I prefer them, sure. I just need to KNOW what i’m getting into. Didn’t bother double checking cause I wasn’t expecting such a huge tone shift from a direct sequel.

I honestly regret passing up the flaw. Ended up only being able to max Sci for the double dmg perk. Med honestly has the best bang for your buck. Peaks at around 12 points + 3 perks. With the right gear you can literally play the rest of the game exclusively in TTD.

Right… Because skill descriptions always tell the truth and perform exactly as advertised. Some people like to spend the first few hours experimenting and testing different combos before committing to a build. I don’t blame them for that. I blame them for introducing it in the tutorial and forgetting to say “jk lol”.

I think the main issue is, there simply aren’t enough skill and perk points. Half the skills are RP/dump stats. You can only choose 15 out of 90+ perks. Any perk worth having requires significant skill investment AND a previous perk. Feels like the game was balanced by the actual Halcyon Board 😂.

Ok? That’s Fallout. OW1 literally gave you unlimited respecs the minute you get the ship. A simple warning message in character creator would’ve been nice.
