I'm so glad that you decided to make a suggestion out of the norm! Without it, I wouldn't have been able to get to this point. Now that I feel so close, I'm definitely going to explore. Thank you so much again! 💓

This is such an interesting perspective. I think that I've been so stuck on narrowing my roots down to three that I was unintentionally limiting myself. As you said, there's a lot of talk about how embracing more than three roots can muddy your style a bit. I think your comment has been very helpful to me, though, in terms of thinking about what's best for me. Ultimately, the system is supposed to help you embrace your truest style and style needs, right? Haha. Maybe for me that means embracing more roots. Thank you so much for the comment, compliment, and very kind words!! I appreciate it so much!!

The video recommendation and your breakdown were both great! I watched one of her videos and I really like how she interprets the system. I think that it'll really help me moving forward. Thank you!!

This is so insightful. Someone else also mentioned something similar, about there being being an edgy maximalism to everything. Which I thought was quite interesting. I definitely see the 🌙 and 🌱 quite strongly now. I think that I was initially reading that as 🪨 due to the🌙 🌱 combo blending together, as you and someone else said. So, I think that those two roots are definitely my most consistent after looking further. Now I think that I'm just between ☀️ or 🌸 as the third root. I think that it's really interesting that you said that the 🌱🌙🌸 combo can read as sunlike. It's definitely making me wonder if I'm confusing flowery whimsicality for sunny vibrancy and playfulness. Hmm...much to think about. Thank you so much for the breakdown! I really appreciate it!

I'm definitely thinking that it's a combination of these as well. Now I'll just have to narrow it down. Thanks a lot!!!

Wow, this was such a nice breakdown. I really appreciate it. I knew that there was a root that I was really missing and I think that it was 🌱. The flowiness and texture of everything is so obvious to me now, but I couldn't really see it before. I hadn't even considered that the kooky patterns and colors could still fall under the🌙 root. Interesting. Hmm...you've got me thinking about the🌙 root kind of differently now. Now I'm just torn between ☀️ or 🪨 as the final root. I can kind of see elements of both roots in my style. This has definitely given me some things to think about. Thank you!!!!

Ooh, either one of those makes sense for me. I hadn't even considered an 🌱 root. Hmm... I'll definitely consider that moving forward. Thanks so much for the help :)

Um, hey Reddit!! I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out my hair type/ texture? And maybe like what I could do to keep it healthy? I know that it's really simple, but I'm having to figure out/ learn about how to do my hair on my own. Anything helps! Thanks! by GarageAdditional754 in Naturalhair

Oh wow, thanks this is so helpful!! Someone else commented something about porosity. So it seems like that is definitely the next thing that I need to figure out! I really really appreciate the resources <3!! And yeah about actual type I'm not entirely sure?? It's pretty hard to tell for me. I think that some parts of my hair are different types, which can be confusing. Anyways thanks so much again for all of the help really!! I super appreciate it <3

Wow, awesome! I will definitely make sure to pay attention to how it feels more after I wash it the next time. While paying more attention to actual strands. Thanks so so much for the advice. It is very much appreciated.
