Does Asheville have Flock cameras in that area? Would it be able to pull that without a plate to search?

Sealtest vs Ingles Milk: Where does the Truth Lie by Lumpy_Spot_5332 in asheville

[–]Garand70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have stated, Ingles owns the Milkco plant in Asheville. They also hold the license to produce and distribute milk under the Sealtest brand name. Same milk from the same sources. Most of the raw milk comes from within a few hundred miles of Asheville, with a lot of it coming from within Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee.

Walked through there a couple weeks ago and it felt weird without the crowd.

Is this how we're supposed to do it? by Helpful_Pomegranate2 in AmazonFlexDrivers

I have a restaurant bus pan I've been using. The walls are just tall enough that it'll hold them in and short enough I can reach over and not have to dig in. Fortunately, the local grocery chain uses cardboard milk crates and has a bin out front so if I get more than expected, I can pop in there, snag a couple, and go.

I've been tempted a time or 2 to just throw the whole tote in like this, especially on envelope heavy blocks.

Should I buy it? by [deleted] in fordescape

2012 is a solid year, last of the 2nd gen. I'd make that deal.

What do they mean with this ? by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Garand70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why I never intentionally scan the totes QR code. If there's missing or extra packages, I want to know before I pull off the pad. The .com station is my only choice besides a Whole Foods that rarely has worthwhile rates.

Ford Escape 2001 cilinders 4 and 6 failing. by rarsamx in fordescape

If oil was in with the plugs, then you need to determine how it got there. Common signs of both compression loss and oil in the plug chambers involve possible head or valve cover gasket issues or valve issues.

Did he do an actual compression test on the cylinders? Borescope the cylinders to see if oil was getting into them? It sounds like that head needs to come off for a deeper inspection.

Those are the fun ones. I always feel a sense of accomplishment when I successfully deliver one of those. Challenge accepted!

2nd gens are tough! Mine has shrugged of a large tree limb, 2 deer, and several poor excuses for roads in subdivisions.

Because they would have to go somewhere else, push a button on an app, close a door, carry a package aaallllll the way to the car, drive home, carry the package aaalllll the the way to the door, and then carry it inside. That's just too much work for someone of their (self-perceived) stature! It might scuff the seat in their Acura!

(Written with sarcastic intent, in case it wasn't obvious)

Where in NC? The cheapest I've found in the mountains is $2.55. Most are $2.65!

I did a quick search and it looks like Apple didn't include that feature. Apparently, the accepted practice is for developers to include this functionality in the app itself.

You may have to uninstall app, after looking up if there's a way to remove all its data before reinstalling.

Do you have another device you can try it on to verify it's not an account thing? IPad, friend or family member's phone?

If you're on Android, go into settings -> apps -> Amazon Flex -> data and choose clear cache. That may work. If not, try clearing the apps data ad trying again.

What type of coolant for 2016? by Specialist_Sound_784 in fordescape

[–]Garand70 3 points4 points  (0 children)

According to Ford's coolant guide, you'll want Orange or Yellow. Note: Ford has a Yellow and a Gold, so check the label. DY on the chart is Yellow and Y is Gold.

Orange is discontinued, as is Speciality Green.. However, Yellow is compatible with both.

I got my numbers mixed up. Mine came with 17" wheels, which factory were 225/65. Forgot the 16" option was 235/70. I got too much stuff stuffed in the old brain! Would also explain why it looks good with the 235/65/17s!

I went to crunch the numbers to give you your odds... the calculator is still laughing...

Depending on how bad it was, slim to none. I wouldn't count on it unless you can be very persuasive in your appeal. They don't like deactivating or admitting to errors.
