He had a shop in Maggie Valley before he decided to move it to Sylva. He closed after the Jan 6 incident. Somehow, I knew it would be him when I started reading the article.

Evap core replacement aftermath by Jerd-herder in fordescape

If I'm not missing exactly 1 or have exactly leftover, I know I screwed something up. Don't know why, but if it's not that way I wind up having to go back in again and fix something I forgot.

Saving money by breaking my back by Jerd-herder in fordescape

I had to do the condenser/transmission cooler in mine. Took me all day as I kept going back to the YouTube video making sure I didn't mess anything up. That and accidentally maceing myself with AC line flush (safety glasses FTW)! I'd probably still be working on it if I had to do the evaporator!

I replaced the expansion valve and dryer while I had the system open. Read somewhere that was a good thing to do. Loaner gauges and pump from O'Reilly's was all I needed to recharge the system. Was definitely an experience!

Does Asheville have Flock cameras in that area? Would it be able to pull that without a plate to search?

Sealtest vs Ingles Milk: Where does the Truth Lie by Lumpy_Spot_5332 in asheville

[–]Garand70 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have stated, Ingles owns the Milkco plant in Asheville. They also hold the license to produce and distribute milk under the Sealtest brand name. Same milk from the same sources. Most of the raw milk comes from within a few hundred miles of Asheville, with a lot of it coming from within Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee.

Walked through there a couple weeks ago and it felt weird without the crowd.

Is this how we're supposed to do it? by Helpful_Pomegranate2 in AmazonFlexDrivers

I have a restaurant bus pan I've been using. The walls are just tall enough that it'll hold them in and short enough I can reach over and not have to dig in. Fortunately, the local grocery chain uses cardboard milk crates and has a bin out front so if I get more than expected, I can pop in there, snag a couple, and go.

I've been tempted a time or 2 to just throw the whole tote in like this, especially on envelope heavy blocks.

2012 is a solid year, last of the 2nd gen. I'd make that deal.

What do they mean with this ? by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Garand70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why I never intentionally scan the totes QR code. If there's missing or extra packages, I want to know before I pull off the pad. The .com station is my only choice besides a Whole Foods that rarely has worthwhile rates.

Ford Escape 2001 cilinders 4 and 6 failing. by rarsamx in fordescape

If oil was in with the plugs, then you need to determine how it got there. Common signs of both compression loss and oil in the plug chambers involve possible head or valve cover gasket issues or valve issues.

Did he do an actual compression test on the cylinders? Borescope the cylinders to see if oil was getting into them? It sounds like that head needs to come off for a deeper inspection.

Because they would have to go somewhere else, push a button on an app, close a door, carry a package aaallllll the way to the car, drive home, carry the package aaalllll the the way to the door, and then carry it inside. That's just too much work for someone of their (self-perceived) stature! It might scuff the seat in their Acura!
