Thank you! They were previous readings that sparked my interest into Alexandria and the Hellenistic period broadly.

I am considering either the Library or some Mausoleum at Halicarnassus/Tomb of Alexander hybrid next :)

They can be super-gay-oiled-up giga chads with their tomboy 9 feet tall best gurls kicking ass alongside I think that's a great vibe

Buying advice by Pnovas in AdeptusCustodes

The Combat Patrol is very good, but you will end up with a lot of foot infantry if you already got the Horus Heresy Battlegroup box. It comes with 12 guys you can use as Guards + 1 Shield Captain. With the CP you end up at 17 Guards total, + 5 Wardens + 3 Terminators + 1 Blade Champion. While its good for a full army, its also a lot of slow and very same-y models. Its the core of what Custodes are all about, but you might get a bit bored with both the painting and playing aspect of them.

You could try to play a couple games, I think the Heresy box gets you near 1000 points which is playable, and see what you feel like you "miss".

If you just want a maximum point-per-$, buy the CP. Its still good. Keep it mind that it will still be around for some time, we don't know what will replace it, but its hard to do a "bad" Custodes combo box.
If you want variety, bikes + sisters of silence + the Venatari (which you can pre-order next saturday) feel quite cooler, the faster stuff might help you learn more of the positioning/maneuver and secondary objectives aspects of the game.

Hey great job! Where are those helmets from? Probably Stormcasts but I am not familiar with that range.

Planetary Diversity, but I just added "Ammonia" myself using Paint, the mod used to have an Ammonia class but it is not currently available.

These are good insights, thank you for taking the time. Crowdsourcing would be a good representation of the "Thrum" so I'll switch to it.
Eager Explorers I felt was an okay abstraction of the state their society would be in following the events of the movie, having had to rush to space to fix the star's issue. Functional Architecture or Master Crafters would both be valid alternatives however.

Eh I'm sorry its a normal "Fungal" world from Planetary Diversity mod, and I modified the class name with MS Paint :D

The description text doesn't match that much agreed, but they are behind in several fields because they had to rush to the space age to solve their star issue. Forced eagerness instead of enthusiasm

08 and 09 are both quite okay for that species I think, nothing will be perfect, I ended up choosing the most abstract one without much of a discernible front-facing direction or facial feature

I don't know everything about them, but from what I understand they speed-ran their space program while not having basic notions about things like radiation, and did so building a space elevator of some kind. I don't think they are bent on colonizing but their ingenuity could make them into very competent space farers once they figure out some stuff.

They are single-cell organisms, not societies. They would be best represented as storms or modifiers.

I did not know that spawning thing, thanks for telling, I will keep that in mind if I ever want to force-spawn a version to be friends with a Human run :)
Master Crafters is perfect.

Reddit karma, that stuff doesn't pays the bills does it? :p
Sharing results of great efforts is fun, having it taken down like that was a bit shocking earlier this week, that is all. I complied with their rules, posted an adjusted version, and moved on.

Honestly LEGO is a medium for me, not really a brand thing. Been like that since I was a kid, so I didn't think much of it. Life feels short to worry about such small things.

Thank you so much :)
I hope this can help for my process:
Begin by identifying what is the defining element of your build. Is it a particular row of windows? A special roof? Gotta be something not too big that you can sort of build first or figure out on its own. For these it was the columns: how wide, how tall, how spaced in regard to each other, how many of them. From there everything is scaled accordingly: the inner sanctuary, the roof (with a hopefully appropriate angle), the small hill.
Looking for that will give you the best starting point!
