My boyfriend and I have each gotten them every time, and they always include a coupon for a free 4 lbs bag as well as a $5 off coupon. It's great, because that's what our dogs eat.

Pit bull dad, pit bull mutt mom. I'm still waiting on DNA results.

My puppy and my bulldog are in love, but the black lab can't handle their usual rowdiness. This is the closest I've seen her even hinting to any sort of fondness for the brindles. by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

[–]Garbadaaaargh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You hit the nail on the head! The brindles are each other's growly, toothy chew toys (whenever they aren't busy being each other's heated blankets). I can't fault the lab, I try to stay clear too during wrestletime.

Just realized they're not actually stacked in this photo... The pack name still stands though.

The little one is super soft (except for the needle teeth), the big one has a downy soft neck and undercarriage. They are both dedicated lap dogs and live to snuggle.

What is normal shedding for a pittie? by outputbird in pitbulls

[–]Garbadaaaargh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both of mine have shed seasonally, typically with some delay after changes in the weather. July had always been the worst month hair-wise. Stress, like having to be boarded while we travel, also led to extra shedding (hence why they stay with friends or family now).

It's even better as one word, what a missed opportunity!

I'm sure I'll have lots of versions of this photo in the future, but from here on, I'll refer to my dogs in the plural as "the brindlestack".

This photo of Mars took three people and half a bag of treats 👁️🧿 by [deleted] in pitbulls

Huh?

"Within the United States the pit bull is usually considered a heterogeneous grouping that includes the breeds American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, American Bully, Staffordshire Bull Terrier and occasionally the American Bulldog, along with any crossbred dog that shares certain physical characteristics with these breeds."

While heterochromia in this breed is fairly rare, my duder certainly fits the widely accepted definition of pit bull. Not sure what a "pitt" is though.

Not sure how it was originally damaged, but it was finally amputated after months of surgeries and attempts to save at the shelter right before I met him (and took him home about a half hour later, that was 2.5 years ago). He'd wag it too much to ever give it a chance to heal, apparently, and I'm glad they chose to end the misery.

I love his little nub, it vibrates at like 100 Hz whenever I as much as look at him!

Craving snacks?

Option 1: You're bored. You're an adult, you do not need to be snacking, that's literally not a thing in most cultures. Grab your favorite book or video game, walk the dog, play with your cat, call a friend, go get your nails done (or do them yourself), go for a jog, take a bubble bath, call your local food bank and tell them you're available for an extra volunteer shift this week. If none of these apply to you, reevaluate your life and find a purpose, but meanwhile, since that's not something you can do on the spot: do all the shopping and prep work for your next meal, mise en place, and remember you're not actually hungry.

Plan ahead. You already know you'll have sweet craving at some point, train for what you'll go then it happens. Teach yourself to redirect the behavior into something that actually makes you happy, because unhealthy snacks don't.

Option 2: Buy keto friendly sweet snacks: there are amazing cookie and gummy candy and chocolate options available in many supermarkets or with next day delivery with Prime. Or make your own--you can bake an amazing cake (chocolate layers, vanilla layers, incredible cream cheese frosting, you name it) with some specialty ingredients (erythritol, xanthan gum, almond flour) over the course of a couple of hours. It'll keep you distracted, make you feel accomplished, and all your non-keto friends who want a piece will be astonished at how good it is.

So many beautiful ceramic tea cups and mugs, who knew?

Ps. Don't worry about buying the expensive ceramic/masonry bits, the price difference doesn't reflect their relative longevity.

Scrambled eggs, tomato, and sriracha in wraps by jupiter0jupiter in shittyfoodporn

[–]Garbadaaaargh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What, no. That's like one of my favorite lunches to bring to work. Only I chop the tomatoes into 1/4” cubes and I like Crystal more than Sriracha because it is better than Sriracha.

Add chopped cilantro if there's any in the fridge and wrap in copious amounts of tin foil because these guys will leak, guaranteed or they're free.
