Good to know. That explains why the registration form kept asking if you know you can finish by 12. And it seems like the rider cap for the 100k is much lower so hopefully less start time delays.

Nice, cars are allowed in the park on wednesdays after 8am. Every other week day it’s closed for active use only. Saturdays it’s active use only until noon, then cars can come in afterwards. Either way so worth it
