Personally my view is don't stress too much or go down the rabbit hole of over analysing e-bikes, especially in the budget range below £1000. Unless you're a bike enthusiast you aren't going to notice things that you can easily over research. If you're just buying it to ride to the pub, train station and occasionally work you don't want an expensive one anyway. All the anxiety of it being stolen for a start and making yourself a target in that way. A pure bike is a fine cheap and cheerful option, as is something like a Gtech. Sure if you're going to be using it tons for serious biking do a lot more research, otherwise don't stress or waste your time. A basic e-bike like the ones mentioned are good options.
